I want to get into metal

What are some albums that can get me further in. I heard Metallica and heard that one pantera album. so I just want more albums to get into the landscape of metal

Megadeth is the next logical progression if you're into Metallica and Pantera. But it really depends on what albums you like from those two bands. Black Sabbath is a must no matter what.
