What would have a 1970s Beatles sounded like?

they could have started experimenting with the earliest synths maybe
Like the Let It Be album but worse
I have the theory that they might unironically would have turned into the same style that Chicago did around the mid 70s
in other words, the saddest sell out in music history
God is that what this sounds like? Never bothered to listen, but my god is that horrendous. Just by skimming through it you can tell it's trash
Wonder if they'd eventually sound like other 70s stuff like prog and roosty stuff like grateful dead. They almost headed there near abbey road but it still has a distinct late 60s feel, almost a 70s sound though there. Would be interesting as recording quality improved and as pedals and synths became more common. Imo rock didn't really fully bloom until the 70s.
yeah it's pretty bad. It's just a mash up of solo stuff from all the 4 bealtles put together.Only decent one is "Anybody ELse"
Like hot garbage. Abbey Road and Let It Be was shit.
ram
Really? I like those albums, besides a few tracks each. I just consider it their third phase.
I am being serious, I think Abbey Road is one of the most overrated albums ever. It's all banal and boring outdated (for their time) rock. They had something going with the leap between their early days and Rubber Soul/Revolver.
Basically, they stopped experimenting once the LSD wore off. Nothing was groundbreaking or good after the White Album. I'm glad they broke up, they saved their legacy.
Nonsense. "I Want You" is pratically doom metal and nothign at that time sounded like that
probably just chasing trends like the rest of their music from after they stopped self-identifying as a boy band for little girls
we will never know, because none of the members released albums in 1970, so we can't never tell what kind of music they would make
It's better than a lot of other things out at the time, a shitty Beatles record is better than many people's entire discography. But after the high standards I got after listening to Revolver, I just expected more. It's obvious John and George were tired of being in the band and it showed.
Wings
probably a lot like carnival of light
+ The Plastic Ono Band
Remember, Yoko was still around
imo their mid 60s transition phase was their awkward phase. prefer the later and early stuff for the most part but definitely a few gems 65-67.
Some mix of Wings, Johns first album, and ATMP would've been actually pretty kino. They would probably do very well in the early 70s but mid 70s onward i think they'd be worn out.
stop trolling nobody cares
Like pink floyd but with more pop elements
A constant update of the wgite album.
Lennon's angry sound it's already there (yer blues revolution) mom issues are there (julia)
Macca wings sound is there (martha my dear) and his folksy side too(mother's nature son nlackbird)
George ATMP is there too (while my guitar savoy truffle)
And Ringo is ringo...
Ringo would still have the no no song!
