I like this. the spoken samples sound really creepy, and go well with the unsettling melody. drums are pretty great, I like your use of 808s. not a fan of this squeaky sample you used for melody though, it does get annoying after a while. I'd probably get of a high-pitched pluck synth with a bit of reverb for this song's melody.

made this for a cryptocurrency song contest thing I found out about yesterday. wish me luck bois

I’m OP thank u for the feedback:) I wanted it to be a little abrasive and unsettling with the high squeaks but I appreciate the feedback!! It’s not my normal type of music but I’m proud of it. I’ll give yours a listen when I’m off for lunch.

I get the point, but maybe use the squeaks percussively (preferably not on the same beats as your drums)? I dunno, to me it only sounds unsettling at first but then just annoying as the song goes on.
That makes a lot of sense, I’m thinking about remastering it for the EP I’m working on anyway so I’ll probably change things up a little bit.
Big ups

this desperately needs a better eq job. far too much treble
ty for the feedback, It's probably the reverb on the kick causing it, I'll try to tone it down abit
I like the atmosphere you create with these tracks. The electronic parts gel really well with the more organic/analog sounds and I appreciate. Listened to the first 3 off the album but will probably return later. Good shit.
thanks. mixing of (synthesized/sampled) acoustic instruments with electronica was one of the big ideas behind the album, but the specific instrumentation varies between the songs. but I think if you liked the first three, you'll probably enjoy most of it.
the other EP I have on BC is just synths though

i make incelcore would appreciate if yall checked out
I like this and I like your vocals, the only thing I’d change would be to turn down the mix on the reverb/delay effect you have on the vocals so it’s a little more subtle, I just think it’ll blend with the rest of the track more if you do! The intro to the song was cool as fuck.
It’s something I’m pursuing in my music as well I like creating stuff that’s right on the edge of organic and electronic, especially if it’s hard to distinguish exactly what you’re hearing. It’s a cool in-between space where there’s a lot of sonic freedom. I was thinking of that a bit with my track(I’m OP) but it’s still a lot more electronic sounding than the rest of the EP I’m working on.
I agree. what do you use for acoustic instruments? do you use real ones, or VSTs? I'm stuck with LABS/BBC Symphonic Orchestra/Ample, but I think it is good enough for my needs.
