>Myth: A Frozen Tale
>Streaming on February 26th
Frozen II haphazardly introduced this mythology, so much that this short was initially VR exclusive. Hopefully its release as a flat film will give it a wider audience. Do they have larger plans with this part of the franchise?

I'm hyped for this if anything because of the soundtrack, getting more Bruni and the narration from Iduna's voice actress.
VR? So I need a special headset to watch this?
It'll be available as a 2D film on Disney+
No, user. It's getting released on D+ but there's also a VR version of the same short.
Oh, OK.
Speaking of VR Bruni.
>plans
Yea, I doubt it. Makes me feel good about the future of the franchise, though.
Does Anna know how to read?
She's royalty, I would certainly hope so.
Will this salvage the Pokemon?
Nice that they're finally releasing it in a format that us ordinary people can view
Do they need salvaging? It certainly makes them seem more mysterious and magical.
You can see them all in the trailer:
youtube.com
>every single comment is an Avatar joke
>a short all about the Spirits
But the King told me they were evil and can't be trusted?
>Do they need salvaging?
Literally everything introduced in Frozen II needs salvaging. Bruni being adorable doesn't change that.
>we will NEVER find out
Nice to know they wrote in English in 1800s Norway.
Does D+ have 3D stuff?
I don’t think so, this was released on Oculus Rift first and is only coming to D+ now that it’s 2D
They sure act like it.
They show her reading in Frozen 2 in this part when she reads Iduna's handwritten text out loud:
I think I have a new obsession.
Pretty good.
She also reads "Ahtohallan" on the map.
In fact, all the characters are able to read based on the charades scene in Frozen 2.
Before that, it was established Olaf couldn't in Frozen Fever. Kristoff could, since he writes the "Happy Birthday" sign. I assume Elsa knows how to read there too, we only see her reacting to how crappy the sign looks.
Anna is the only one who reads something in F1 I think (The sign at Oaken's).
>Olaf couldn't in Frozen Fever.
It would be extremely funny if Olaf's ability to read was directly linked to Elsa's.
>Hey Iduna, maybe we should give Elsa a book or something. It's kind of important for-
>What's a book?
>...Never mind
>all the characters are able to read based on the charades scene in Frozen 2
We really have no evidence for Elsa here. She failing spectacularly at her charades could be due to her not knowing what the notes say.
Also, in the shipwreck scene Elsa only identifies Iduna's handwriting but you don't actually need to know how to read to do that.
i love how the acronym matches the quality
Like everything available on D+?
>Elsa opens and reads her charades clue
>"...Dry banana hippy hat?!"
Witnessed again.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LOLIDUNA IS SO CUTE BREHS
Same.
>killed by best boy and best girl
Not a bad way to go, not gonna lie
Elsa finally beats illiteracy once she becomes the Fifth spirit.
That's the end of that arc.
Elsa is perfect
And not a slut
Fresh Mego.
incredible. I think she draws Elsa’s tits bigger every time.
Wake up or you'll miss the new thread!
I'm awake, I'm awake.
Yes.
I'm up. just trying to transfer over my files to my new laptop
Lovely.
>new laptop
Hey, that's good to hear. Upgrading your work equipment is always a smart investment.
and then Anna crushes Elsa's head between her thighs
Are you guys seeing this?
>final form + first form
interesting, I never thought of that, I like it
I'm too old to understand this
Very nice.
I was going to suggest you painted her lips red but then I remembered pic related.
An obsession, like a detective with a case she just can't crack.
>Reading brings her powers out as strongly as fear. It's too dangerous. Best to keep her illiterate.

hype!
Elsa only does this to birch trees in the forest now
I mean, both are weird, but isn't it less weird to hug a tree rather than a light post?
By just looking at the images, it looks like the creation of the world, animals, spirits, nature and people. And then water people.
Yes, unless you're doing a "Singing in the Rain" impression
>Iduna scribbles on the only known copy of an ancient creation myth
As it should be
ok, ok!
Wrote something in that light
>Chicago, 1930.
>It was a stormy evening. Thunder roared in the sky while heavy droplets of rain assailed my window. Lightning flashed its light inside my room. Or better yet, my office.
>*A tall blonde, dressed in dark clothes, leans her right tight on her desk. She plays a bit with her long braid while looking at the weather outside her room.*
>I am Detective Elsa Àrnadalr, a Norwegian immigrant trying a new life in the so-called ‘land of freedom’. No heavy hand of the aristocracy ruled here, but the fair touch of democracy. The problem is that with freedom comes leniency and, with leniency, crime.
>The Prohibition, set on by the government a decade ago, started the Age of the Gangsters. Organized crime of the worst kind, smuggling alcohol from other countries and owning illegal distilleries. The gangsters were the aristocracy of this new world… or so they thought.
>I am a descendant of the royal kings and queens of Norway. These gangsters are just newly-riches living in debauchery and excess as much as they can. Sadly, that also involves enforcing ‘protection’, kidnapping, torturing, and executions. Sometimes, I catch myself thinking if my decision to leave Arendelle was the correct one. It sure was way safer than the greatest city in the Midwest, but also too… peaceful. I’m too young to spend my days doing nothing of importance.
>*Elsa lits a cigar, exhaling a smoky breath while admiring the illuminated city through the window.*
>I left behind my dear sister, Anna. She’s a recently wed girl, married to a local town businessman involved in the ice market. He’s a simple, but gentle soul. I trust Anna will have a happy marriage with him, although certainly with lesser stature than if she looked for someone else. Can’t blame her, as I have yet to find someone in my life. Since she was engaged with Kristoff, she bugs me to find someone, too. Have yet to feel the need… So many things run through my mind every day, I don’t have time to deal with that.
>These last days, the popularity of Prohibition has been thrown into the gutter. The same people who believed life with alcohol would create a better society now ask for it to return, after living under the rule of the mob. Shocking, isn’t it?
>*Elsa reaches a small cupboard, pricking a bottle of wine and two glasses from there. She serves herself a bit of it and leaves the empty glass on her desk. Sitting on her chair, she opens up the newspaper. She reads the headline.*
>” MURDER! Three found dead at the Old Irish. Police have no clues…” Of course, the police never has a fucking clue. Most of them are in the pockets of Al Capone or his rivals. Looks like I’ll have to get down there and make some living.
>*As soon as Elsa puts out her cigar and stands up, a strong lightning bolt flashes and a shadow can be seen through the opaque window of the door. It’s a tall man, with a hat and a greatcoat. The man gently knocks.*
>“Come in, please.” *The blonde presses a button under her desk, turning the lights on.*
>The door opens with a creak, revealing more of the mysterious man. He is indeed a tall fella! Not so much as Kristoff, though.
>*The man wears a big greatcoat, dark brown as his hat, and a black briefcase is seen in his right hand. His heavy boots are a bit dirty and wet; he promptly scrubs the soles on the rug and enters. He takes off his hat and does a courteous greeting.*
>” Lady Árnadalr, a pleasure as always.”
>Oh, no. Not him.
>*In front of her, a smile full of lies greets her. Green eyes filled with malice and planning. A sweet voice, perfectly honeyed to deal with whoever he needs to talk to.*
>*And, just like her, he’s a descendant of a royal line and came to the United States looking for more in his life. However, he took a different path… one that Elsa knew it would bring only trouble to him – and anyone crossing his path.*
>*His most striking feature, however, was his flame-red hair and some outdated sideburns. They added a bit of eccentricity to him that, allied to his backstory and streetwise, made him irresistible.*
>” What can I do for you, Lord Westergaard?”
>” You already know about the latest murder, of course.”
>” Yes, it was the main thing in the newspapers today. What of it?” *Elsa pauses a bit, thinking.* ”What have YOU with it, Hans?”
>” Already dropping the formality, Elsa? Good, good.”
>” Stop wasting my time.”
>” Oh, I’d never! See, the thing is: one of the victims was a friend of a ‘friend’ of mine. I came here to make use of your services.”
>Ugh, the nerve! This clown wants ME to work for HIM! Although, I need money… The recent storms have caused the Atlantic to be barely navigable and money coming from Norway has been having a bit of difficulty arriving here. Let’s hear him a bit more.
>*While Elsa was lost in her thoughts, Hans serves himself the other glass.*
>” Sure, go ahead. It’s not like that bottle is expensive or anything.”
>*Hans devilishly smiles at her, stirring his glass a bit.*
>” Oh, where are my manners? Apologies, my lady.” *He proceeds to drink it anyway. Elsa crosses her arms, notably angry.*
>” See, Elsa, my friend will pay you well. All he asks is results and discretion.”
>” I’ll give it some thought.” *Elsa lits another cigar. Understanding that it was his cue, Hans finishes his glass, opens the briefcase, and puts some papers on Elsa’s desk.*
>” Here is everything he knows about his pal and the other 2 fellas. If you want to pick this case, you know where to find me.”
>” Hans… why did your friend send you instead of coming here himself?”
>” Oh, he didn’t ‘send’ me. His dead friend owed me money, and I intend to collect it from whoever finished him off. And I don’t know anyone more suited to discover that than the gorgeous present company.”
>*Elsa eye-rolled while Hans blinked at her.*
>” Are you telling me this ‘friend of a friend’ was just jack shit? Why can’t you come up with some honest talk, Hans?”
>” I swear everything I said was true! See, no crossed fingers! The problem here is that my friend is someone dealing with dangerous stuff and rather keep a low profile.”
>”’ Dangerous stuff’, huh? Like… you?” *Elsa points a provocative finger at Hans. He heartily laughs in response.*
>” That’s why I love talking to you, Elsa.” *Grabbing his hat, Hans slowly leaves the room.
>Why do I keep up with his shit? God, I need another drink.
Really good, user.
Would read a full noir Frozen fic.
I like it, even better with background music
youtube.com
Nice!
Looking forward to the scans.
Cool, do you own those?
First time I've seen that they have an Elsa on the spine
Nice! It's flattering to know that my simple edit inspired someone out there to write something. I'd do it myself, but I get so lost in coming up with ideas that I never bother to write any of them down (I also don't trust myself to finish a story once I've begun). Interesting choice making Elsa the detective, though. I imagined her as the femme fatale, similar to the German lounge singer from L.A. Noire, who is also named Elsa.
> I dedicate this to that one user who was creeped out by my having kids.
Not translated, I could do it poorly, but it would be a LOT of work, and I can read it well enough soo ... time to practice your french anons. Some of the artwork looks funky near the spine, but this is the best I could do without risking further damage. Enjoy!
user, you're extremely based, thanks!
>time to practice your french anons
In theory, we could bother translateanon about this. He said he would do translations and edits for official stuff if we needed so.
I want to write a story with Elsa as the FF, but as your pic had her as the detective, I guessed I could write something a bit different
> I'd do it myself, but I get so lost in coming up with ideas that I never bother to write any of them down (I also don't trust myself to finish a story once I've begun)
That's one of the quirks of being a writer. I've been stalling for 2 months, occupied with other stuff and with a blank state of mind regarding writing. Perhaps this little story will bring me back to the fold.
But don't give up! Even if you never finish a story, at least you started!
Begin with smaller ones, it'll help. Watch background material to inspire you.
Thanks!
Ooh, nice touch!
That's it. I have no. 5 as well but I'm going to hold off for now, this took longer than I thought. I also have several more on the way, but some of these are still proving difficult to get. Hopefully I'll get the full collection in time.
based user, thank you very much!
Are you from France or did you import these?
He said that about comics, these are 64 pages books. If you still want to give it a try, I would ask him about the "Le cadeau d'Anna" book instead, since he already translated the Magic River comic.
Alternatively, learn French, it's not that hard!
Thanks a million!
Incredible, thank you! I've been wanting to see these in full for months now... I hadn't seen any stores that would ship to the third world. I'm glad the worldwide Frozen fans were able to accomplish this.
It's my pleasure anons believe me. I've been wanting these for months too, and I'm reading for the first time with all of you. I scanned/loaded the images here before I even read it.
> Are you from France?
French Canadian actually.
>fresh edits, greentexts and scans
Blessed thread.
>quebecois

Iduna looks good here.
I can read it much easier than I expected too. This kiddie level is about what I learned in high school, or rather what I've retained after X years since graduating. Full pages was the one thing we were missing.
Thank you Canada, you're a very good next-door neighbor. And your PM has nice socks.
Glad to be of assistance, dear user. The ride never stops!
Thank you very much!!
Merci beaucoup!!
His comment about not having kids was strange. I guess he doesn't want to have any?
Anna looks good in this simple style because she's a simple person.
That's not a bad thing. Anna is simply Anna.
>but as your pic had her as the detective
She isn't supposed to be the detective. In that scene, she's the mysterious femme fatale who enters the detective's office to give him a job. At least, that's what I had in mind. However, as I said, her being the detective is interesting.
>Begin with smaller ones, it'll help. Watch background material to inspire you.
It's a good thing I'm surrounded by inspiration. I just have to figure out what to do with it all. Starting small is ideal, so maybe I'll get around to trying something when I have the time.
>Anna is simply Anna.
Anna is simply Annadorable.
Don't bring that evil here.
>Don't bring that evil here.
I'm sorry, I've just been laughing at the absurdity for the last 5 minutes
>She isn't supposed to be the detective. In that scene, she's the mysterious femme fatale who enters the detective's office to give him a job. At least, that's what I had in mind. However, as I said, her being the detective is interesting.
Oh.
Oh well, I misinterpreted it. At least you liked it, anyway.
I see you like puns. Good!
>finding the shield of a dead Arendellian soldier
that's a bit morbid
Nothing is more French than 'morbid'
Highlighting the important things I see
I feel so fucking bad for Anna, she came all that way just to find a literal handwritten note from her parents that says "we only care about Elsa", then heard their ACTUAL LAST WORDS and her name wasn't mentioned once, only Elsa Elsa Elsa. She really was the spare.
Maybe that's why Anna wanted to put Arendelle underwater. It never appreciated her.
Anna doesn't strike me as a person who would need to hear that to know her parents loved her. Elsa on the other hand...
Yeah, Anna is strong. She barely reacts at this news, instead knowing that Elsa is about to have a breakdown, and rushes to her side. What a great sister she is.
Still sucks for her
I don't know what's happening but I like the pictures, thanks
kek
It's normally the first sibling that's desperate for parental attention. Anna has known her whole life that she's an afterthought, and she's used to it. She's a tough flower, while Elsa wilts whenever the sun goes behind a cloud.
Anna's parents locked her up in the castle because ELSA was a menace to people around her. I think she got the hint they didn't give a shit about her.
0/10 needs the little red flag on the helmets
who sleeps with a headband on?
Elsa even sleeps with her makeup on when she's older. I'd like to know what mental issues can cause that in a person.
When the person you're trying to seduce lives with you, you have to look good all the time.
>what kind of person
A child who could wake up at any time, freak out loudly at all the ice around her, and have to look presentable for whoever rushes into your room to check on you.
It's only recently that Elsa got enough self-control to not wake up screaming whenever she had a bad dream.
>lethal spikes in her sleep
...maybe it's best if Elsa stays single
youtube.com
They should have had Elsa meet herself in a mirror in Atohallan instead of her mother.
> you get to do anything you want to Elsa for a night.
> you die in your sleep from an ice spear
Worth it?
Can I kill her and obtain her power?
All I want to do to pre-Frozen II Elsa is give her a warm cup of tea, a blanket and a hug. The poor girl was made to feel like a freak for most of her life. She deserves some kindness.
Yeah, means I got to skip out of her bullshit.
Sure, but you don't know how to control it and you create ice spikes in your sleep which impale you.
It would have been a great callback, this time she would smile at her reflection and willingly step into it.
If I take enough drugs I won't fall asleep so I'll be safe
You might start hearing voices, though.
Plenty of room for callback lyrics from either Elsa, too.
>No I can't, I don't know how!
>Sure you can, I know you can!
>Cuz for the first time in forever
>Oh I'm such a fool I can't be free
>You don't have to be afraid
>No escape from the storm inside of me
>We can work this out together
>I can't control the curse
>We'll reverse this storm you made
>Anna please, you'll only make it worse
>Don't panic
>There's so much fear
>We'll make the sun shine bright
>You're not safe here
>We can face this thing together
>We can change this winter weather, and everything will be alright
>I can't
>Elsa gets a duet with herself before she gets one with Anna
But FTFTIF Reprise is a duet?
Can someone post the picture of Mark being told that Ahtohallan's singing is Iduna?
Yeah, and I like to think of it as the last song of F1 until I remember Fixer Upper exists.
Oh yeah.
In that case, I guess Elsa just dropped Anna for a better song partner.
But she hasn't?
You can settle for the nice orchestration of Do You Want to Build a Snowman, in the finale song when they're skating together.
In the hypothetical scenario where her big duet in the second movie is with herself, she has.
Right, so she hasn't
Right, and in the hypothetical scenario we were talking about, she has.
But how would you get the Trolls making excuses for Elsa's violent behaviour without Fixer Upper?
>People make bad choices if they are sad or scared or stressed
Kristoff's was also basically victim blaming Anna before she was shot through the heart.
>Kristoff: Where are you going?
>Anna: To see my sister
>Kristoff: You're going to kill yourself.
>when it's cold and the power is still out
>tfw your state isn't completely inept and can handle a freak snowstorm without completely shitting the bed
That "doesn't count," though. It's a reprise. Lots of reprises are duets. Why can't we have a fully original song that's just a duet from the get go?
>Why can't we have a fully original song that's just a duet from the get go
Its called Love Is An Open Door user
...for Elsa and Anna, user.
The original is still a duet though. They're not singing it *together* but they are singing it together.
It's still a song, user.
Just because it doesn't fit your arbitrary rules does not make it not a duet.
Two movies about sisters that love each other and the best we can get is one kinda-sorta-not-really duet?
It doesn't count because user doesn't like Anna, basically.
I forgot to write the part where I'm just devil advocate because I too want a nice and happy song of them singing their feelings to each other at the same time in the same space.
Yes, clearly, I hate Anna so much I want her to have a big showstopping number with Elsa that's easily a highlight of the franchise. Ooh, how I hate her so.
>Arrendelle's in deep, deep, deep, deep shit
I mean, really, an Elsa/Anna duet should be a one-per-movie requirement. WTF.
no, no more frozen
Yes, more Frozen!
Hush, Wanda.
Thoughts on this design?
Why does she have a cow skull on her vagina?
I love it. Looks like her "winter sprite" form. I could easily see her coming back from the forest looking like this.
It symbolizes her barren womb
idk but ponytail Elsa is underrated.
We’ve had an Anna movie and an Elsa movie. Maybe in the third movie, they can finally understand each other, and sing to each other on purpose without being in a storm of angst.
>Elsa finally comes home from the forest and is all
You can add another to that list
chile translated the comic:
mega.nz
Now, before I get any shit about this, I was not pushy about it. I simply asked him if translating the books would be too much of a hassle and sent him the scan. Fast forward a few hours and here we are.
This one isn't going to be on the pastebin because it's a fan translation, but he said he would eventually archive it on the blog.
>comic
I meant book.
It’s just the opposite. Because of her powers, Elsa’s eggs are pristine and will always remain that way. She could have dozens of children over her entire lifespan, if the desire ever crossed her mind.
Awesome, and thanks for making contact, and thanks again to the based user who provided the scan!
This is some very based collaboration.
Oh, nice! No complaints here, sounds like the right way to ask. I was thinking of how to phrase it myself.
It almost sounded like he was sad that he ran out of things to work on, so maybe this came at just the right time.
Thanks to everyone involved. The global Frozenfag network succeeds again.
Literally fucking how?
This would take me at least a full day to do.
She looks like Jack Frost’s girlfriend...
This is very nice
but also
>tfw I was working on a greentext translation to maybe storytime next thread
Tell me about it...
This one is sweet
youtube.com
It's weird how "sister duet" wasn't the Number 1 priority for things to include in FII.
I'm very grateful to both the user who gave us the scan and the one who translated it.
I'm left wondering once again how come 2 complete strangers from an anonymous imageboard are able to give us in like 8 hours what Disney hasn't been able to in months.
I just watch OFA or listen to When We're Together on repeat for that shit.
I am in awe of how fast this happened. It felt like work to me just scanning the damn thing, this is next level. Good work Dab Forums
Pic related is a better shot, It's actually Elsa and Anna.
Also adore these two
youtube.com
we can never have too many quality OPs in the hopper
>it's both of them
Oh thank god.
I was almost about to have an autistic meltdown if it was only Elsa on the spine. Thank you for preventing me from embarassing myself.
I love it. I wonder if there's a teleprompter or they really did memorize all the words.
Fan covers in cosplay hold a special place in my heart too.
>travel outfits standing together
It's my favourite. Glad to know that on some small piece of merchandise, they're always like that
Et tu, zepetto?
From that angle it looks like Anna is pulling her shirt out so it looks like her chest is bigger than Elsa's
It's a tool that can be used for both good and evil
No sound so just imagine sad piano music on this one
Where am I?
You're living in the insane world that Zepeto unleashed upon us all
Something about these makes me uncomfortable.
Sorry, here's one with no Jack in sight
Love the school setting
is Moana making fun of Elsa because she gets a series and we don’t?
Either that or she's upset that she's getting a series and everyone's reaction was "But what about Frozen: The Series?"
I like it.
Oh, sweet winter child... the ride never ends
DON'T YOU DARE!
How sad. Hans is so obsessed with Elsa that he sleeps with women who wear their hair like hers. Too bad for him that she despises him.
Correct answer
NO
It's okay, I guess.
And now I hate it.
Hans developing an unhealthy obsession with Elsa but can never actually have her is a good idea for a fan-fic.
Heh.
Well, I'd rather not get tangled in such a conversation
The simpler answer is they aren't bringing them because these do well everywhere else but not in the US. And when they do release them here, they have to heavily reduce the amount of text in them, so we're not getting the same experience. Doing it ourselves seems like the only solution.
Elsa should flex her massive wealth on all of the peasants.
a toast to that
Reminder we have never seen Elsa eat in any of the animated material.
Unacceptable. We need an Elsanna mukbang short to correct this injustice.
This is giving me some strange feelings...
cute!
Isn't that what she does just by going outside in fancy clothing?
In that time period, just the dye required to create a gown of this vivid colour was more expensive than a month's worth of clothing for a peasant.
Sven, no!
Yes, her and Anna's lifestyle require that for now the peasants wait patiently.
The most needy might get a blanket if they hang around the Royal Guard.
One day the wealth will trickle down. It's economics.
>random bystander is suspicious of how "close" they are
kek
I'm the motion lines on Anna's butt.
>mukbang
Isn’t that a porn thing?
>posting a cover-to-cover translation of a Disney product for public viewing
I hope this doesn't run into any legal issues. Short comics are one thing, but this is a complete work. I would hate to see the blog get nuked by the Mouse.
Or maybe he's imagining something
Reminder this is happening tonight
hype
hopefully I can get it to work on the new laptop
No, it's an eating thing. Although I'm sure some people get off to it.
>Isn't that what she does just by going outside in fancy clothing?
They aren't fancy enough. Elsa should be a hypebeast.
So pretty...
Derivative works are always a murky business.
In this case I'd say user has modified way more of the original thing than with the comics. I mean, some pages are just text without any illustrations on them.
What remains there of the original book when an official English text does not exist?
A valid consideration, but I think the answer basically is it is a fan translation, not for commercial purposes. So it's allowable.
If she's not a "hypebeast" in that dress then I don't know who the fuck is
I know the focus is intended to be her face, but her breathing is just mesmerizing
>those proportions
I bet Elsa could cross her arms like that and hold her own hands behind her back
>hypebeast
I don't know what that is, but it doesn't sound like something that should ever describe Elsa
I'm joking, but Elsa should be fashionable.
Elsa should step on Anna
Yes, my attention is definitely drawn to her... breathing.
it's a meme term for modern fashion, the pic you posted kind of fits actually
Elsa should step on everyone.
if Elsa gives me a new fetish, I don't mind it
>hat big enough to shelter them both
What a gentleman
>you will never control Elsa's diaphragm slider
You could download the KH3 model
I hadn't thought of that. It seems daunting, but if it's for Elsa, I'll teach myself how to do it.
I think they were pretty easy to find, since I recall an user messing with them at some point.
Yes, even I had them on my old computer but I ran into an issue with textures and gave up.
The VR user only fixed Anna, I think.
Maybe you can find better models with less issues by now.
Honestly, I'm motivated to do it just so the deviantart weirdos aren't the only ones doing it.
Why are their breasts so large?
No idea, I assume that's a personal touch they gave to the models...
The girls get flatter over time, so it's a simple way to show that it's a prequel
Anna looks great in these but Elsa gjves me the creeps.
It's the blank stare, I think facial expressions are tricky to do, so most people just leave them on default, which creates a creepy effect.
More here (lewdness warning):
deviantart.com
Ok yeah, I don’t think these are the same models from KH3
dat ass
Couldn't the same fix for Anna also be used on Elsa?
Sure, but I think he literally only cared about fixing Anna, and I never found out which settings he used.
kek. Now the vacant expressions make sense. Please take my soul Ahtohallan-chan
>lore-accurate ring
nice
>lore-accurate appearing to be topless
nice
Hmm
New firebox stuff and it's Kristanna?
Nice
Is the full thing available somewhere?
I’m getting Michel Ocelot shadow puppet vibes here.
7 pages currently up on their Patreon and they're still making more, I'm not subbed though
I do like the combination of earrings and a ring. Anna looks good with jewels on.
>15 dollar tier
I'll see if I can get it once it's available for the 1 dollar tier and I'll share it here. I was waiting for them to do something good with the Anna model to re-subscribe.
hey, you're right. I do like the shadowy look
That'd be great
> the moment Elsa realized she owed her sister a canoe.

> Disney artists message to Elsanna shippers
Don't worry Disney, your secret is safe with us
These movies have surprisingly long Wikipedia pages
>this got a series
A-at least we don't have a series for preschoolers.
Its studio is like the Disney of Russia, it's their very best animation and The Snow Queen are their most famous movies.
Let's watch it
Wait why is the guy CG but everyone else is 2D an?
Thanks for streaming, Gerda a cute. I love her Snow Queen look.
Looks like that poster is some proof of concert since it's CG.
Thanks user!
Reminds me of Sofia the First artstyle
That show always creeped me out. Like all the characters were just faces projected onto blank mannequins.
If Elsa was at the gym, maybe I'd actually go there for once
Reminder this is the original ship.
>Elsa's workout attire is red instead of blue
This feels wrong.
I'm shocked this is the first time I've seen that joke
kek
this is what the canoe scene should have been
What is this from?
Snezhnaya Koroleva 1957
>Snezhnaya
Gesundheit.
>Elsa sends Anna off with a kiss on the cheek but everything else is the same, including the canoe
Would it have improved the movie?
People already think Elsa is awful for luring Anna in with a hug. She'd be a literal hate sink if she'd lured her in with a kiss.
Definitely yes and I'm not even an EA shipper.
The hug was nice, but it also served as a trap to get Anna and Olaf in one place. A kiss would be an expression of (sisterly) love with no deceit behind it, IF it came at exactly the right time, AFTER the hug, since they'd already be standing in the right position. It has to be from the heart, and not a cynical lure.
It would have lessened the horrible question of "Does Elsa really like her own sister?" that F2 forces us to ask.
As much as I'd love a canon kiss, this would just make that scene even more polarizing. they should have kissed on the beach instead(on the forehead or cheek)
>It would have lessened the horrible question of "Does Elsa really like her own sister?" that F2 forces us to ask.
You guys really need to stop being so dramatic.
What about "Does Elsa lick her own sister?"
>spoiler
I can agree with that. If Anna kissed her cheek first, Elsa giggled and reciprocated with her own, it would have gone a long way towards making her seem like the same old Elsa. I have a feeling that a lot of "dead/ghost Elsa" theories wouldn't exist if that happened.
Sorry, that was hyperbolic. But the rest of my post stands. Timing is key. The kiss can't be the bait, it has to be done when Anna is already standing there.
>"Does Elsa really like her own sister?"
Not as much as she loves magic
>You guys really need to stop being so dramatic.
user, she throws her sister down a hill, doesn't even seem all that thrilled when they reunite (Anna is literally crying out of joy and Elsa is... also there), when Anna asks her what the fuck happened after they parted ways she responds with smug facial expressions instead of... literally anything else, and then ditches the entire kingdom in Anna's lap at the first possible opportunity whether Anna wants it or not because "the spirits all agreed." Sure, no doubt the official intent is that they both love each other, sisters forever, yadda yadda yadda, but you have to admit they did a really shitty job at portraying it. We don't come up with this stuff out of absolutely nowhere. There has to be something there to spark the idea in the first place.
>Does Elsa lick her own sister?
We know the answer to that one
If Anna licked Elsa, would her tongue get stuck?
It depends on how mischievous Elsa is feeling in that moment, or if she wants Anna to keep going...
Elsa is always in the mood for some licking, with the possible exception of immediately after seeing her parents' deaths.
This one is just unsettling
Too much
yikes
This would be what Elsa's Stepford Wife would look like.
>If Anna kissed her cheek first, Elsa giggled and reciprocated with her own, it would have gone a long way towards making her seem like the same old Elsa.
The forehead touch wasn’t enough?
That's a very cute Anna.
>pinky out while holding a lollipop
D'aww
Sleepy thread
This is the only thing that would get me to actually subscribe
Cute representation of the franchise. Elsa's power and presence overwhelmingly surpasses Anna's, but she still needs her support.
This is basically their dynamic. I'm surprised Anna isn't tired of Elsa's bullshit by now.
Anna is the nicest person ever. The most she's been mad at Elsa has been literally seconds.
She is basically a saint in these movies.
To add to that, just think about it, both sisters get frozen, one in each movie. Big difference is Anna freezes saving her sister, while Elsa does so for being too stubborn and not listening to the warnings of her mother or Anna.
>Elsa freezes alone, in a cave, miles away from the people who love her, right after getting a power-up and a fancy new dress, for which she ditched her snow-son and her sister.
>Anna has to save her ass once again.
It's pretty funny and ironic. I would say it was unintentional but Elsa does say "You saved me" to Anna in the end. I just think that could have been delivered better.
Is Elsa a terrible role model? Is that the reason the books are mostly about Anna now?
The books are mostly about Anna because Elsa is living in a boring forest now. Anna has access to the rest of the expanded universe and cast of characters.
Elsa staying in the Enchanted forest basically killed her character, at least until they figure out what to do with her.
>at least until they figure out what to do with her
In the meanwhile you have fan artists like shibarou, who has managed to make a long run of comics set mostly in the forest, all by simply having a little bit of fun with the setting and characters at their disposal.
Yeah, it’s not about characters being bad or good, it’s simply that Anna is where all the story is. There’s a barrier to storytelling with Elsa now, she can’t just roll out of bed (does she have a bed?) and go on an adventure now.
I’m really appreciative of comics like this, they give us what Disney won’t. All I ever wanted was silly little stories in the forest, and these fill that need.
Feels like an overcorrection to me. Wasn't Elsa supposed to be the bad guy? Then they tweak the story a bit, and suddenly she has millions of fans who say "omg I relate to her so much, because I also want to be alone sometimes!!"
So in F2 they try harder to make her unlikeable, but the diehard fans are still there. Then they use the nuclear option and write her out of the story completely.
The writers say that you WILL like Anna, no matter what.
And yet, try as they might, Elsa remains perfect.
>Then they use the nuclear option and write her out of the story completely
The original plan was to just kill her, but they were forced to back down. So instead of a nuke, it's more like a dirty bomb, where she's a dead woman walking, and is condemned to slowly die from radiation poisoning.
That metaphor got away from me. But I'll always love Elsa, no matter how badly the writers treat her.
I'd argue Disney never really knew what to do with Elsa outside of being a very successful marketing tool.
Anna seems like a character that's easy to write, she's the cheerful, dorky but adorable adventurer type, she is easy to insert in a story for her alone or shared with other characters. Case in point, Frozen 1. While you could argue Elsa is the main character of Frozen, Anna is undoubtedly the protagonist of that movie, since most of the story is focused on her journey.
Now, if we look at Elsa in Frozen 2, whenever she isn't with another character, she is either fighting or singing.
It’s funny, Elsa and Kristoff both only show up in the sequel to wonder out loud “why am I even in this movie?”
Anna is far more generous with power-ups.
That’s because Elsa’s presence is its own reward, but Anna has to bribe the player with gifts so they won’t abandon her
Anna is overall a better character, that's true. I'm happy Frozen 2 made more people aware of that.
Thanks to this place, I can no longer tell when a size difference is supposed to be cute, or if it's supposed to be sexy...
I don't understand how that fanfic gets so much art. They don't seem like commissions. Is Harry Potter really that popular?
If I was the author I'd be freaking out. It's like being struck by lightning twice.
Anna also got a proper arc in the sequel, coping with loss, which also got the final song in the movie.
Meanwhile Elsa got a repeat of her arc from the F1, accepting herself.
I think you're right, they really don't know what do with Elsa, it's a good thing Idina Menzel can sing as great as she does.
lol
There have been stories set in the forest, but they are about Bruni, or Anna visiting Elsa.
>Elsa dies and is probably revived in F3.
>Elsa becomes a side character (Curent status) until they figure out what to do with her for F3.
You can only choose between these two, which one do you prefer?
I prefer what we currently have, because I can't imagine Anna being her cheerful self in the expanded material we're getting with Elsa being dead.
