>Twitter screencap from a phone with a hyperbolic comment by OP
We deserve better

>Loony Tunes characters
>set on a construction site

Well, this DOES have serious potential for ACME hijinks involving high explosives and/or heavy machinery. Depends on how much of that you can sneak into a preschooler's show.

>being mad at a literal preschool show
manbaby

tweety's color is just wrong. Is he a girl in this?

>Decent looking 2D designs
>Not the exact same art style as CN's other beanface shows
>Keeping Looney Tunes brand alive in a less insulting way than Baby Looney Tunes
Are you fucking kidding me, OP? This isn't even the most offensive thing announced in the last 5 years.

>old designs pasted on stock cosntruction site
Fake and gay

This actually looks kinda good, not as bad as baby Looney Tunes mind you.
Also Lola looking cute.

Eyelashes indicate it's a girl, likely not Tweety but rather some OC

So it's just baby looney tunes 2.0

This looks like it would've been a better move a few years ago, cashing in on the Paw Patrol gimmick and such. By now the competition in toddler cartoons seems unironically quite fierce. Profitable niche, apparently.

This. If I was a kid I’d take this over Baby Looney Tunes. Hated that shit.

loli lola when

True

Looks okay. Certainly better than all the Calarts trash coming out

This looks okay as far as designs go. Are you someone working at WB getting upset about this or something?

Looney Tunes purists thinks everything needs to be a tv 14 with each frame hand drawn on paper
They don't realize that Looney Tunes is a big brand, Bugs is Warner's mascot, and will always get new material. Much of which is to keep the characters relevant, and if this gets 1/10th the impact as Paw Patrol it'll do its job of making kids know who these guys are

The only reason to watch this is for CGI Minnie's panties.

Is this loss?

Mickey and friends are far more softer than The Looney Tunes gang

In all seriousness that does seem like a bad choice. Most kids reject their own adolescence as they grow older. Kids who are 7-10 will shun things they watched in preschool and kindergarten. 11-13 are excited to become teenager and look down on anything they did previously as childish. Past 14 you will have a hard time getting them to touch anything they liked before puberty.
Imagine if Kingdom Hearts was based on Barney the Dinosaur meets Final Fantasy. As a teenager would you really assume it was meant for your age group?

Man I hate Tweety Bird.

That is all.

Daffy looks the best.
Why Daffy is always the best out of these Looney Tunes cartoons?

>Western Animation
USA mascots = the west

Attached: 1613081252522.png (632x1052, 941.02K)

Are you implying it’s not a looneyful day?

Daffy is the best cartoon character ever made and will be good even in shit

It could be worse, at least they are not babies
now this, this is heretical

>Tom and Jerry Junior (working title) – Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Tom and Jerry Junior is a series of animated musical shorts introducing the beloved cat and mouse duo to preschoolers with an educational twist.
>educational twist
It's a series of shorts about a cat and mouse trying to hurt each other, why must they reinvent the wheel? Also Tom and Jerry as kids has been done before

Attached: 1573525585775.jpg (1242x1415, 627.99K)

This is what happens when your target demo uses "adult" as a verb.

Well, at least Generation B(eta) will have their own preschool shit. I just hope their Gen Z parents won't be like Millennial parents who gave their Gen A(lpha) kids smart tablets to shut them up. Oh who am I kidding? you know that's exactly going to happen.

Attached: DsGohbCVYAAE2mz.jpg (1200x675, 136.41K)

That's a bait and switch user
Pooh was not advertised, they waited till you were in the game before they threw him at you.

Cartoon Network will be dead in five years. This isn't sustainable.

Gen Z was basically the first generation to grow up with tablets and smartphones in a school environment, even the youngest Millennials would only get smartphones in high school if they were lucky. It's already far too late and you can already see gen Z talk positively about the industrially-manufactured internet content they grew up on.

Wasn't a Kingdom Hearts cartoon at least rumored at some point, by the way? Can't remember right now.

God I hope so. I can imagine after their 30th year on television it's gonna be full of mundane shit that not even kids will enjoy.

>Cultivate an older kid/teen/young adult audience in the early 2010s
>It does great and basically saves your network from the brink of extinction
>New management comes in
>Makes everything excessively kiddy to overtly preschool
>Channel ratings sharply decline after a couple of years
>Just keep doubling down on it for half a decade
What were they thinking?

>Western Animation has collapsed
Been like that since 2014.

Preschool shit shouldnt dominate the animated output of the west, this is fucking bleak as well as extremely stupid on the part of warner
Exactly, these shows wont attract the conventional audience for CN and toddlers will grow out of them in half a year, what is WBs plan on this, are they trying to kill CN?
>It's already far too late and you can already see gen Z talk positively about the industrially-manufactured internet content they grew up on
I fucking hate zoomers, but i also hate millennials for instigating this behavior

Attached: 327AF5A1-7B6B-489F-97FC-814C8C11381D.jpg (491x489, 295.75K)

I can't stand CN anymore hire some more good cartoonists or call it quits.

I stopped caring about years ago.

Interesting point. Maybe that's why they stopped with the Disney Princesses line. They were defining them too narrowly as characters for kids.

Attached: EgLUAyKUMAAQehm.jpg (3890x2568, 2M)

Attached: 1594015133391.png (500x342, 74.51K)

I would take literally ANY toddler toon over any regular cartoon released within the last 5 years.

to your point, the top 2 right ones aren't even part of the Princesses line. Moana was the last one to be added.

Objectively this isn't worse than the nike commercial movie from over twenty years ago.

>I would take literally ANY toddler toon over any regular cartoon released within the last 5 years
You are the cancer killing the animated industry

I remember when Looney Tunes were meant for adults and shown in theaters

"The west" is something like 60% USA, and 30% Canada, a US subsidiary. Bongs, italians and Australia make maybe 3 series worth watching every year.

Attached: 10 hour rant on star wars and minorities.png (416x465, 82.6K)

We'll have to see if Raya is officially inducted.

Preschool shit accounts for over 90% of all animated content worldwide. Don't be pretentious.

I hope everyone's ok

>90%
Don't kid yourself, it'a closer to 20% if your talking about worldwide

And bugs and the gang are gonna have to rebuild it

Don't be delusional.

Over a decade ago this board started watching a certain multicoloured horse show meant for preschoolers too...

Youre far too late.

this is not going to have violence is it?

Tweety almost always has long eyelashes, which is probably why everyone keeps thinking he's a girl.
His colors are wrong because he's a baby chick or something, IDK.

Any views from the back?

Don’t forget
>actively make several episodes where their shows attack any kind of criticism and call any adult wanting to watch their shows as complete mannabies

This is funny yet pathetic at the same time, old boomer manchildren wailing on about how dumbass millennials and dumbass zoomers grew up on shit that's different than what they grew up on. The pessimistic attitude older generations have for younger generations will always be funny to me. I just hope that in the future millennials and gen z's don't turn into bitter self-absorbed boomers. They probably won't since they're depressed fucks on the internet.

All old cartoons were meant for everyone back in the 30’s-50’s. You even had some shorts like private snafu that were only meant for adults. It wasn’t until hannah barbara and a bunch of glorified toy commercial action cartoons that animation was degraded to only being for kids.

I think it might genuinely be the Pony Life effect.
Why put out something of quality that will just be judged harshly, likely ending careers (and possibly lives), when you can just shovel out crap and nobody will care?

Attached: the ride can't end if you're dead.png (1847x730, 73.19K)

I would argue this is the best she’s ever looked. Making Lola cute instead of sexy seems like the most optimal solution for where to take the character design next and cute has greater potential to be funny than sexy.

I thought Moana had her own line, she’s like the mascot for Disney Cruises and the Disney Resorts.

Steven Universe will not be looked upon fondly in the future.

I feel like there's supposed to be a tie in video game to this.

>Getting mad about a show for preschoolers
I don't know what your parents envisioned in your future OP but it wasn't this

You clearly haven't seen the Anime industry. Shit is tanking so hard the NEED Netflix to survive.

What are you talking about? The anime industry's profits have been increasing every year.

Who’s life ended over pony life?

Only because of Netflix. Otherwise, it's a DYING INDUSTRY.

Wait?! Preschool cartoons about the boring Mickey Mouse can, but can't Legend of the Three Caballeros?! FUCK DISNEY!

Attached: The Legend of The Three Caballeros.jpg (183x275, 20.4K)

AAAAAH NOOOOOOO ALL MY SHOWS NEED DEEP LORE AND LESBIANS

Even Nu-Animaniacs is better than this nonsense.

>As a teenager would you really assume it was meant for your age group?
If you were a teenager when Kingdom Hearts came out you would absolutely shun it for being Disney in general, are you kidding me?

Foreign revenue is a very big part of the industry, but it has nothing specifically to do with Netflix. Why would it be a dying industry?

nobody's, but people sure act like it has.

Because the day Trigger died, the industry was doomed. Now, the only thing that is saving it is foreign revenue from Netflix. The only other successful thing out of Japan is Pui Pui Molcar, a stop-motion animation about gerbil cars. IT IS DYING.

American animation sucks but this show looks lively at least. It's a shame nobody can make anything decent that isn't aimed at little kids.

Spoiler: They will. This is a cycle that will never end.

Trigger didn't die, and even if they had died it wouldn't make any difference for the industry.

>Now, the only thing that is saving it is foreign revenue from Netflix
It has nothing specifically to do with Netflix.

>The only other successful thing out of Japan is Pui Pui Molcar, a stop-motion animation about gerbil cars.
So Demon Slayer isn't successful? Attack on Titan isn't successful?

>IT IS DYING.
No it isn't.

No it doesnt and it shouldnt account for most of the animated output in the future, fuck you

>This is funny yet pathetic at the same time, old boomer manchildren wailing on about how dumbass millennials and dumbass zoomers grew up on shit that's different than what they grew up on. The pessimistic attitude older generations have for younger generations will always be funny to me.
Lets players and playing nonstop shitty games on tablets is objectively worse for kids. They should have toys and watch normal cartoons like normal children do

Attached: C101F9DC-2CC9-461D-BA6C-239FB9286A91.jpg (1125x1115, 224.72K)

More kids on tablets means more future diaper fetishists, which means more twenty-year-olds to flirt with in my forties

In any other case I'll say you would be right, however Looney Tunes is one of those things that is timeless due to being so old.

It's over, get over it kek

Attached: 1606188118578.gif (550x450, 349.39K)

>They should have toys and watch normal cartoons like normal children do
I 100% agree. I still remember back in 2016 that my once 4 year old nephew rather watch some stupid kid unbox toys on the tablet rather than wanting to play with a toy. Shit I don't understand and for some damn reason, toy channels are popular amongst the current generation of kids. Give children smart tablets was a mistake.

It's easier to distract a child than to actually raise them

Based
Cringe

>Baby Loony Tunes: SOUL
>Bugs Bunny Builders: SOULESS

Attached: daffy.png (719x719, 563.74K)

To be fair I remember some of those episodes being mildly entertaining when I missed the bus or didn't have to go to school on a weekday

>It's easier to distract a child than to actually raise them
And this is why im ashamed of my generation, millennials are horrible parents

Attached: 7F889600-9901-4945-92D2-B75EE85B38A2.jpg (1124x979, 121.09K)

We've been spoiled by the intense competition of the 90's and the lasting quality that came of it. The truth is that cartoons on television are always made on the extra cheap, and since TV is fucking dying, the quality of new cartoons are getting hit extra hard. You'll start seeing the general quality go up once this shit is more profitable.
HOWEVER, that will 100% not stop shit like this from happening. The suits gotta tap into that money vein before its all gone.

Attached: 1604890061754.png (334x348, 124.17K)

This, and even then it could take time to rebound. You need both the profitability and talent pool.

What about Tiny Toons? Western animation went on fine after that

Tv is dead, streaming is the future

>Looney Tunes purists thinks everything needs to be a tv 14 with each frame hand drawn on paper
Sounds based, I'd watch it

If their parents had money to buy toys or superior non-freemium games, they'd likely opt for the trash less often. For kids it's always an issue of access. You can be advertised Moon Sand and Sockem Boppers every day for a year, but it's ultimately up to mom and dad whether or not you actually get to have them.
I would also go on about how people of all kinds are getting jaded with cheap plastic crap, but I think anons here won't believe me.

I still think you're just upset about NEW BAD, though.

Baby Looney Tunes sucked ass, you're just nostalgic.
It was a souless corporate cashgrab, nothing more, nothing less.

This, the biggest bummer is that the construction shtick could lead to some hilarious slapstick but I doubt they'll allow it in a educational preschool show

This isn't new, dude. This has been the world since at least the late 80's.

Baby Loony Tunes was like the most soulless cartoon of that era, everything about it feels fake as shit. Just picturing that opening frame of the themesong with the characters all walking towards the camera and smiling is the most sterile shit.

I heard someone at CN wants to make the channel more preschool oriented, maybe the new president? Either way bailing on those shows

Oh yeah, it’s real schizo hours.

Attached: 7D2530AD-6BB7-4EE5-AB13-0411962D78CB.jpg (960x720, 271.32K)

>I would also go on about how people of all kinds are getting jaded with cheap plastic crap
How? Collecting toys is one of the only things that gives my life purpose anymore. If i ever have a kid im going to give him lots of toys and ill gladly play with him. Better then this virtual nonphysical shit

>We've been spoiled by the intense competition of the 90's and the lasting quality that came of it. The truth is that cartoons on television are always made on the extra cheap, and since TV is fucking dying, the quality of new cartoons are getting hit extra hard. >HOWEVER, that will 100% not stop shit like this from happening. The suits gotta tap into that money vein before its all gone.
But by going to preschool shit theyre going to make even less money then making regular cartoons, now theyre going to drive away all their built in viewerbase

>Gearing CN to Preschoolers
They tried that with Tickle U and failed, presumably because parents will just either turn on Nick Jr or Play House Disney instead.

This is just trying to put the final nail in the channels coffin, the only hope if that happens is it doesn't take Adult Swim with it. I'm guessing it's something like "we just want more people to switch to HBO Max"

...

Implying Baby Looney Tunes didn’t already exist.

the tablets are only smart because they sap children's intelligence its all apart of the trans humanist conspiracy

This kind of behavior still won't get ladies interested in you.

baby looney tunes was memorable just because it was "that one show you were forced to watch when you were at home sick"

Trans humanism is a good thing, giving kids tablets that make them stupid isnt good though

There was already tiny toons and scooby door had a pup named scooby doo

But why building tho?

Boys might think it's cool

By that logic then Mickey would be safe too.
But you're forgetting from the perspective of kids that grow up with these characters in their preschool programming they will have experienced them as very childish characters first. Even after growing older and learning of the history of the franchise they still have those characters framed as being a part of their early adolescence. Rather than see the full picture of the characters their impressions of them will be based on what they had at 4-6 years old and then weighted by their current perspective of that time of their life.
Maybe if the right care is given to push some of the older content on them so they continue to develop and process the characters as their tastes change they could have a more nuanced opinion of the characters. But most likely they will go a few years without much viewing of the franchise until WB has a new series to sell and by then the target demographics will be a tough sell.
The only thing they have going for them is kids will watch most anything if it's put in front of them. Maybe they see older reruns or maybe something new is put out, chances are though they'll never fully lose that first impression of the characters though. It will always feel like a preschool show that got "aged up" with them.

I would like to point out I have bern saying this for years though I think op is citeing the wrong reason.

Came into this thread the ask this.

>I just hope that in the future millennials and gen z's don't turn into bitter self-absorbed boomers.
Millennials already have turned into self-absorbed assholes, they just have different talking points with which they bitch and moan about everything that is not what they like when they were a kid. And they did it in a fraction of the time it took boomers to.

I don't doubt that Gen Z will be in the same position even faster. Eventually we will get to the point where babies come out of the womb already jaded and bitching because the world outside isn't to their liking.

Western Animation is dying... good.
Why should people save western animation industry when new generations cannot appreciate older cartoons?
See most of new shows nowadays? I hate them!
Younger generation will look back at us and laugh calling us bigots. And what's worse, we will not be there to give them a hard time.
But we can destroy animation industry to give them shit on our behalf.
TV and streaming services could ban old cartoons and only air shit so bad that after watching it their eyeballs would just melt off.
By destroying of beloved western animation in some small way we still will be there to laugh at them back.
So cheer up, it's not the end of the world.

>Hoarding gives my life meaning
Sounds exceedingly miserable. Please don't instill that attitude in your offspring.

Id' make an edgy joke about imagine caring about zoom zoom Google adsense products with some human semblance, but in reprospective it backfires at how shitty corporate workshippers most city boomers parents were and how that snowballed hard into what we're now.

Building is one of staples of the toy industry, I think toy shovels and dump trucks still sell just fine. Why Looney Tunes specifically? IDK, they probably chose it at random since these characters don't have specific jobs.
You have preschool cartoons about problem solving, animal care, delivering packages, capeshit, nature studying, sailing the seven seas, roadster racing, baking pastries... Just pick a gimmick and slap your IP onto it.
I'd say the Flintstones would've been a better choice with the variety of dinosaur construction equipment. I mean, Dinotrux was a thing. They're probably not as popular/funny/cool/cute/ as Bugs & his pals though.

The only western animation worth watching in years has come from France though.

Its baby looney tunes all over again

OP is a retard but they should've revived The New LT instead

>implying this show is good
It makes me sick seeing kids watch this shit. Makes Dora the explorer look like Terrence Malick

>Said user whose series (DT17) is just ending in less than a month.
And yes, Lot3c is better than awful DT17, that's for sure.

Attached: Don Rosa Chiles.jpg (1062x739, 342.89K)

>I NEED TO CONSOOM!
Good goyim!

OP is a retarded faggot

>He hates preschool cartoons
It seems you never had a childhood.
Arthur, Sagwa, Jackie Chan's adventures, etc. All better than the what they put out now (Steven Universe in particular). Modern "children's cartoons" are NOT for childre

HOTDOG!

>We deserve better
No the fuck you don't

The only people still watching CN in the current year are toddlers and manchildren, so your point doesn't make much sense.

Is that......is that Lola as a child?

Do not lewd tiny Lola

A lot of teenagers were into Kingdom Heats when I was one

CEASE

Looks a fuckload better than Baby Looney Toons.

pathetic

Pathetic.

a man of taste

wtf, why

I bet you totally cared about the show where the looney toons characters were literal babies

>Western Animation has collapsed
user, it took you 22 years to realize this?!
