"Scooby Doo: the Sword and the Scoob" movie is out

My problem is with the modern Velma-fication of the show. Where the episodes start with Velma already knowing exacly how the mystery plays, and just sucking out all the fun. Every other character is is there just for their catchphrase with Velma as a moving plot explainer.

They did the same thing in the 13 ghosts movie. Just teasing it movie by movie. Some writers must know that the little bit of actuall magic is important, and the policy that says no unexplanable stuff ever in this show, is a bad one.

If it wasn't for Zombie island, the only relevance Scooby would have nowadays is hanging out with Yogi bear and crew, because the last scooby movie before that was just a Hana Barbera movie with Shaggy and Scooby as the wrap around.

Now, these latest batches of shit like "Zombie Island wasn't real and neither was 13 Ghost...", kinda sours that a bit.

I was one of the people who didn't dislike the super obnoxious Velma in Be Cool, because every character was just their trope in that show. But putting that Velma in every other incarnation creates the most unwatchable, unfun shit.

Yeah the lines are a bit crude, they are usually nice and thick. Plus I have watched a lot of scooby direct to video movies.

How do you explain the pirates bones growing flesh and becoming a zombie or the dozens of other zombies with detachable heads and limbs or the ghost levitating velma or the fucking transforming were-cat people? Like they went out of their way with that movie to make it so this shit is real and can't be explained like the other cases they've done.

They way they explain Fred being "Frozen" with a magic spell is really retarded even for Scooby Doo, Velma tells Fred that he only "Froze" because he was too impresionable.
If you can't explain magic in a way that makes some kind of fucking sense, Maybe just don't.

Yes, it does not make sense that they keep mentioning Crystal Cave if they are going to deny every magical or paranormal thing, is it that nobody remembers everything that happened in Crystal Cave? ghosts, aliens, talking animals, the demon from another universe from the last episode.

So Maxwell Adams is a huge Velmafag right? Only 11 minutes into this one, but this movie and the Halloween movie feel like they give Velma a lot of dialog compared to the rest of the gang.

I don't get why they would do that even the original series had some real monsters like the Yeti who fell to his death or the actual living skeleton from the dinosaur episode.
Plus this movie uses flashbacks from Zombie Island, Mistery Inc and a Pup named Scooby doo (All of them had actual paranormal shit), I don't know why they are trying to put everything Scooby Doo related into one continuity while also trying to retcon all the paranormal stuff as being fake.
