We had one the other day that I made a bunch of webm for; it dropped into the archive pretty quickly because of all the announced projects.
So here they are.

I had forgotten how great Master Blaster and the Copycats were until I watched the episodes to find clips.
The first season was a lot more cartoony than the second though the second had a lot better animation.
This is an old one that bridges the gap between two new ones I made.
I'll finish off with some older ones I had.
Those are some cool designs for the bad guys, especially the cats.
All of those cuts and poses seem random but the whole thing is a reference to Angel by Madonna.
Yeah, there's a good balance between goofy enough to be funny but serious enough to make them decent antagonists.
The first episode seemed like it was shooting for them to be more serious but that went away pretty quickly and, really, for the best.
Some of the first season episodes had a real "Late '70s Nelvana" vibe to them.
It's been what, thirty-seven years since this aired? And I still have hope that one day someone will find the original masters and get them out to fans. This show blew my mind as a six year old and the damn songs have been in my head for most of my life.
Thanks, OP.
The last time it aired on a network in the US was in the early '90s on WGN; it's apparently been shown in other countries since then but I don't know when.
It was really popular in Israel to the point that it received a lot more merchandise and even a live action tour by the band but, again, not sure when it last aired there either.
This show is trash but I'm still in love with it for that. It's my ideal for a silly Saturday morning cartoon and if I ever get in me to actually try and make something it'd have to be in the vein of shows like this.
R.I.P Fat Cats VA.
I'm pretty sure that Marshall Efron is the only primary cast member to have passed away so far.
The rest of them are still fairly active in their acting careers besides the guy who played Kidd Video and I think he switched over to ADR work.
Aww shit, is that some Mathnet at 0:18?
Here's a few footnotes.
First is the 1984 Saturday preview show. The Kidd Video material starts at about 9:10.

It has some other stuff of interest like Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends plus a young James Avery as a bumbling henchman but it's insanely '80s in a bad way.
And then there's the 1985 preview with Punky Power. The Kidd Video poryion starts at 15:00.

I can't find any full versions of the 1987 CBS preview but Kidd Video was just a fill-in show there until Galaxy High took over that timeslot in 1988. That said, from what I understand, those were replays of the NBC version and not the syndicated version that WGN aired later; if that's true, that was the last time the original episodes aired in the United States.
Finally, the band recorded a benefit song for UNICEF in 1985 with a bunch of other childhood actors.
I dug around and found a video of a 1987 airing of the show; unless the clip was cut out by whoever uploaded the video, the A-HA video clip was clipped out so the show most likely hasn't been available uncut since, at the latest, 1986 when it re-aired on NBC.
Oh hey, I drew that thumbnail, sweet
Great job on the webms op.

That’s great but webms are ableist against iPhone users. Why do you have a problem with people who have iPhones? By posting webms you’re saying “yes, I don’t like your kind and I don’t want you to participate on Dab Forums.” That’s be cute if this was 2011 but it’s 2021. Get over yourself.
