DJT - Daily Japanese Thread #2535

DJT is the best Japanese language learning vtuber shitposting thread on Dab Forums for むっつりスケベ共 that are interested in everything Japanese (no politics )
Japanese speakers learning English are also welcome

How to heal COVID and flu with amantadine/rimantadine hydrochloride:
kisu.me/1lzk

The only way to learn 日本語:
1.無理があんのよ
2.Don't waste time/money on ゴミ like:
-Shitty apps, 英語 youtube channels, Genki, Imabi, RTK, KKLC, Kanji Damage, Wanikani, Duolingo, language schools, AJATT, JLPT, Kanji Kentei tests and other scams
-Awful anki decks (only 2k/6k from the OP and a simple yomichan mining deck are ok)
-You shouldn't spend more than 1-2 hours on Anki as a beginner and 20 minutes max after a few months, spamming easy is fine, Anki is only good at the start to prepare you for the journey
-Pitch accent (doesn't exist, you can say words however you want kisu.me/1kiU )
-Learning how to write on paper (you can do it later once you're decent at Japanese)
Avoiding these beginner traps will cut down your learning time considerably to less than 5 years if you learn every day and never give up, since the following points are what actually teaches you Japanese
3.Take care of yourself, get some vitamins, read cosmetic ingredients, switch fluoride for hydroxyapatite, opt for natural ingredients if possible
4.Spend a few days getting familiar with hiragana and katakana
5.A few months of Anki 2k/6k vocabulary and Tae Kim grammar while reading something easy on the side
6.A few years of reading, listening, watching vtubers, shitposting in /djt/ and having your posts corrected by Jap flags, googling stuff you don't know and you're done!
7.Play Umineko
8.Move to Japan
9.Realize there's always more to learn and the ride never ends

This is a very weird question but does anybody know of any Latin -> Japanese speakers/learners? Latin is the only other language I've learned, and frankly it's more of a study or dissection than 'learning a language', so I'm kinda curious to see what roads were travelled best by brains similiar to mine. Japanese simultaionusly feels very hard and suprisingly easy? That wa probably the dumbest thing I've ever wrote but it feels like the grammar is much nicer than what I was expecting. Maybe it's just the lack of autism from Latin.

>Riki:" suit yourself"
>In order to rescue Riki's girlfriend, Kunio met up with his former friend...
>And the two began walking toward Reihou High School, the source of the trouble...
>Keeping mostly to themselves, they joined together only for this goal....
>That is how the fighting began.

Riki: Suit yourself!
Riki to save his abducted girlfriend, and Kunio to meet with his former comrade...
They begin walking towards Reihou Academy, the source of the evil...
Only their separate objectives that they keep hidden in their hearts bind them together...
A heated fight begins...

Thanks, I can see it clearly now. My brain still can't parse a lot of this stuff so it forces weird meaning into the text.

>そうだ、どんな形だろうと奏汰が「大切」なのは同じ。
>形だろうと
Is there an omission? して?

Too pure
>It's my fault and I'm sorry.
For what it's worth this is a bit too strong, "it's my fault" makes it sound like you did something terribly wrong but you didn't, you just don't know how to answer his question
A simple "Sorry that I can't help you" or something like that is better here

Could anyone please answer

"Perhaps I'm not as good as you think I am"? Still sounds weird, not sure what exactly you wanted to say

Yeah I wasn’t sure about that part either, maybe he was trying to say something like “I’m not the right (a good) person to ask I think?”

If I remember correctly, a few Japanons including myself joined in the conversation about the German dub of Ghibli works, but all I was talking about was that the German dub could be better than the Japanese one because Studio Ghibli casts celebrities new to voice acting instead of hiring professional VAs.
However, I was not 100% sure which Japanon you referred to, so I added 多分 at the beginning of the sentence.

>not sure what exactly you wanted to say
I guess he wanted to say "I don't think I'm the right person to answer your question" or something like that.

Yes. Well, actually I started learning both at the same time, and it felt like there were a lot of similarities. Indeed, when you have to deal with declensions on almost every word (the trade-off for free word order) it makes Japanese seem much more easy in that sense.

Still having trouble with the usage of に and で when describing things that are in "non-physical locations." For example...

file IN my computer
event IN my memory
saw an actor IN a movie
read a lesson IN a book

That's English dumbass

core6000.neocities.org/dojg/
just read up on them hear

>file IN my computer (の as there's no verb)
>event IN my memory (the same as above)
>saw an actor IN a movie (で)
>read a lesson IN a book (で, or の if the nuance doesn't change if it's "of")

>hear
*here

*Just read up on them on this here website

Attached: hiroaka_allmight_02.png (976x683, 192.2K)

hair*

黙れ
ファゴット

I have read it, but I find myself getting tripped up sometimes still. Just need to get used to the usage since I think "location of existence" means something different to me intuitively.

I guess I should have given examples for the top two, but it was hard to think of a natural one for the second. For the first, maybe "stored a file on my computer" or something like that.

こんばんは

Attached: Tatsuya_nice.png (854x706, 496.18K)

>stored a file on my computer
It's "PCにファイルを保存した"
"PCでファイルを保存した" may sound like "stored a file using my computer".

so is there a general rule for non-physical locations

>Japanese
>Rules

feel

I have no idea how to explain grammar well and I kinda just try to pick up on things. Well, for me, I kinda think of に as "inside/towards" (towards previous word) and で as abstractly "at". I don't keep any hard rules though, just a general feeling.

Attached: 1607866745033.jpg (450x306, 29.21K)

Sorry I can't summarize it into one simple rule, sorry..
You may have some idea by learning a lot of phrases and reading some guides. I still have trouble using "to" and "for" in the right places.

>is a slurred ください in their fashion.
>so you may visit and ask itt when you have other troubles as well.
>You may have some idea by learning a lot of phrases and reading some guides

I am so bad that I don't read grammar books or guides, and I think I should, but I also feel that if I read about something in advance and then don't use it, I forget it quickly.

So like a proper procrastinator... I read up on grammar when I'm trying to write. But perhaps it's better that way too, because then you are using it.

Cool your autism, it's not like mathematics where everything can neatly fall into place. Some things can be explained easily, and some things can't.

何ぞ我を殺さぬ

For instance... in English, you can contract "I am" to "I'm", "You are" to "You're", "Do not" to "Don't", et cetera. But when do you do that? It's rather interchangeable, isn't it? Or is it not? Is there always a proper time and place to use a contraction?

hello which moonrune is this

Attached: Captura.png (80x76, 7.26K)

thanks
why does it look so different

ちなみに日本語では
『ぼくは』『きみは』を『ぼかぁ』『きみぁ』みたいに略して言う言い方がありますが正直ジジイしか使いません
『わたしは』『わたしゃ(あたしゃ)』は語感が面白いからかまだ使う人が稀にいます。ババ臭いけど。
『俺ぁ』はまだ普通かなあ...男塾でも使ってなかった?

when you're being superfluous you elongate your sentence to be as long as possible.
or "I am" may seem more declarative than I'm.
