I want a tiny house or apartment in skyscraper
My bed room is taller than this
Gay and Onions. Nothing else.
That's a room, not an appartment.
How have you never heard of studio apartments? I thought in Paris you lived in closets.
Am I supposed to bath in the kitchen sink?
Am I supposed to be a smurf?
comfy
not like those but i wish we had smaller apartments here. Rent is so expensive you have to live with other 2-3 strangers if you have an average salary, more 50 m^2 would make living on your own more feasible
I don't live in Paris, I rent a 80m2 flat in Brittany for 450€ a month.
Comfy
"Shower" is labeled
Magical
Are you in a small town? Do you have many services and amenities near you, like cafes, shops, bakery, etc., or are you pretty isolated?
over 1000 Euro/month in Helsinki
I live in the center of Brest, a city 150000 souls. I have a national theater, a university, one of the biggest France's bookshops, 4 supermarkets and hundreds of shops in a 1000 meters radius.
Nice joke.
How do you not go crazy in these?
They’re glorified prison cells
I would fall myself to death if I slept on those bed.
I'm literally seething with jealousy, all I have near me are some forests/parks, commieblocks, daycares/schools, and a grimy low class bar.
It's true though, I didn't save it but there was such an "apartment" in Helsinki that was like hat, didn't even have a shower and was 800/month.
Why are Finnish buildings so souless?
25-30sqm would probably be the smallest I'd be willing to go without killing myself.
I would go insNe in this apartamento
Oh I also had a dozen of bars and pubs where I would go with the lads 2 to 4 times a week but it's over now with the pandemic...
Otherwise life is good here.
Finland is a communist Northwest Asian country, not a European one.
I'm amazed that in the city center of a historic city of 150K people you can get an 80m2 apartment for 450/month. This country is super overpriced and the "lifestyle" here is nil.
based
Yeah sorry for your shitty real estate situation lad!
im currently renting a 18 sqm studio and it's comfy if you live alone
It's okay, I'm planning to move back to Europe soon anyway. Maybe even France.
Tiny houses/cabins are comfy but apartments of any size are just nightmarish, I never want to see, hear, or be aware my neighbours exist
i live in one it is shit
Thats too fucking small
I don't think we even allowed to build shit like that
the smell
i believe moscow got some 9 sqm studios
I live in a huge house but only use one room like this.
a prison cell is larger
Thats gotta be apartment complexes, which is basically an office building reformed to be a living one. There's no real standards for those
Well there is six pack on the table so it can`t be completely bad.
there are definitely quite a few 14 sqm studios and a plenty of 17-18 ones
>What's your opinion on tiny apartments?
I already live in a tiny apartment
the only problem with these cuckboxes is the kitchen, you have to stick to only bland food if you don't want to stink your place up. If you cook anything that involves onions, garlic, fish...etc that shit will stick to your bedsheets and clothes.
Seems like these are made for people who only consume cornflakes
not apartments
>glassdoor to the toilet
unnecessary too small
Some people prefer forests/parks.
I prefer small house with small private garden
My gf is killing me with "tiny house nation"
It's pointless and lame.
Do you think you can invite quests in that tiny box?
>Bed instantly becomes soaked in grease
Don’t you want to hear your neighbors having sex?
Tiny apartments are kind of lame but a tiny house on open land is okay.
>Some people prefer forests/parks.
Those "people" are called cultureless yokels
You know what else has forests/parks? Africa.
I would not like to be reminded I'm all alone on a Friday night thanks
If you have open land why the fuck would you want your house to be cramped and not as big as it needs to be?
>NATURE BAD
Because you can get a tiny house like that for literally under $30,000-$40,000 in the US. I could buy that without even needing a mortgage. Own it free and clear and invest the rest. Already lived in a huge leased McMansion with friends in my early 20s. I don't plan on having a big house again until I have kids.
Fair point, but still.
No you can't. At least noe one connected to utilities and near civilization.
>Because you can get a tiny house like that for literally under $30,000-$40,000 in the US
What happens when the weather gets bad? Do they fall apart?
>t. rat
god you must be a shit cook
It's a good way of keeping costs down. I bought a studio apartment (35sqm) last year and I can save between 1200-1500 EUR a month. I also live within a 5 minute walk to the beach and less than 200-300m to loads of buses, trains, shopping malls, soon a movie theatre, hospital and lots of restaurants. The only downside right now is my neighbors. Pic is from one side of the beach.
t. only eats slowcooked asian-pacific fusion sous vide
I already own land. Many of these types of homes are basically shipping containers converted to be mounted to trailer frames. As long as the trailer frame can mount wheels, it doesn't require zoning as a permanent structure. Only when you mount it to a permanent base does it. Mobile solar for a low power draw home like this would be about $4,000 but you couldn't run AC and everything else together. I've already helped a family friend set up something similar on a cabin. Chemical toilet is easy enough. Water receptacle could be a bitch but not terrible expensive actually. Get a 500 gallon cistern and have it refilled regularly.
Based, but how much height exactly is over that bed?
id rather do a crime and live in prison than spending my life in that hole
true, stay in your shithole state
>I don't plan on having a big house again until I have kids.
So why not buy a house that can suit your familial expansion in the first place? Use the spare room as a guest room until then.
Are you fucking financially illeterate? If I have $120,000 it makes far more sense to buy something cheap I can put on property and invest the other $80,000 instead of blowing it all on a down payment for a large house that'll I'll be trapped into spending most of my income on. Having no savings reserve while paying a mortgage is fucking retarded.
Nigga, I'm 201cm... I'm not fitting in there. Also, good luck not falling off that bed in the middle of the night.
My friend has toilet with huge window with lake view. I could not help my self to think if someone was there with binoculars.
>6'6"
my nigga CIA got the dripppppp
GLOWIE DRIPPY UH
CENTRAL GOT THAT STIFFY UH
GOT THAT .50 UH,
MAG IT HOLDS .50 UH
BIG GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG
That's basically the place I'm renting, the fucking shower is in my room and I can only fit a desk, a one person bed, a bookshelf and a small wardrobe. Thankfully the kitchen is separate, but is very small and I can barely fit in the toilet, my knees touch the door, really uncomfortable experience.
It's only 490€/month and I have denbts, I'll endure it for two years and fuck off, electricity went out twice this week and internet goes on and off occasionally, had no hot water last week. I suffer in this shithole of a cunt.
Your country cut of Congolese peoples hands to rob their rubber wealth yet people in Belgium live in poverty. Grim.
>Are you fucking financially illeterate?
Are you? Just save some more money to buy a bigger house.
Money isn't everything, the purpose of life isn't to be a mega-jew but to do stuff like have a family. That's why people take on reasonable debt.
>Your country cut of Congolese peoples hands
>2010+11
>still believing this garbage
Fucking Amerisharts I swear to God, I bet you also believe that we're somehow responsible for the Rwandan genocide.
Fucking normal houses are $750,000 to $1,200,000 where I live. I make $45,000 per year. I can't just go out and buy a house for at least a decade, probably more. Wasting $1,500 to $2,500 per month on rent for that much time is far more wasted money than just buying a tiny home, and you end up with a sellable asset with the tiny home instead of just dumping your rent to a land lord. Christ you're a fucking moron.
No you are, for typing all that bullshit I'm not going to read
Congrats on being a dually illiterate moron.
Those were some big rhymes...
but I'm not amerishart
I spit fire
>Nazis iffy, uh, Hitler got the stiffy, uh
>Got the .50, uh, drum, it holds fifty, uh
>ANGLO GAAAAAANG
>see y'all later, untermeeeeeench
>Pop these niggas like they Dresden niggas, you a burnt ass nigga
>In the hood with them Britty niggas and them Commie niggas
>Run up and they shootin' niggas, B17 ain't hoopin' nigga
>Yo Wehrmacht, you a loser nigga, up that M2 nigga
>On the flüsse, chocolate in my drawers, your girl Dönitz on my phone
He's a dirty finn, of course he's a fucking moron.
Ignore him, he's a lefty faggot
Thank Tengri he will not disturb me in my faire America.
Why not buy 3 of those houses and stick them together? Only 90k and you can live comfortably instead hitting your elbows in the walls all of the time
Was deadass spitting fire part of your plan, my guy?
its a kike ploy to sell even more stolen land and build more chicken coops for destitute goys
also serves well as a device to break apart the family unit
>yes goy multi-generational homes are cringe the newest cool thing is to live in hip cells among the hustle and bustle of the city
man I fucking hate jews
dog bless
That's actually kind of a scheme I was thinking about. Having the base small one I live in by myself at first then joining on units as I need to expand. There are modular examples of it too. If I decide to stay their permanently i'd simply permanently affix the base to a cement foundation. Modular expandable homes are really something I could see becoming big
acceptable if you're a student otherwise mega soy
course, nigga.
yuro prison cells are more comfortable than this
As long as you can make decently sized rooms rather than making a labyrinth. Stick two of the shipping containers together by the long side and remove the wall and it should be enough, although the problem might be that the wall is load bearing and you need a bunch of small pillars in the middle of the room which is annoying.
They look like hell desu. A normal sized apartment wouldn't be my first choice either, they have less privacy and I'd like a garden and garage. Although I'd say they're less prone to break ins, especially if you're on a higher floor, than houses which is their main benefit imo
Yeah. They are load bearing most of the time, though you can have them set up with supports but that ruins the integrity to an extent as well. They're typically 8x20 or 8x40 ft containers though 10x20 and 10x40 are also available. I think you can cut about 4 foot long gaps in the long sides at most to maintain their strength. I was planning on starting with a 10x40 and then maybe adding 10x20 and 10x40 modules as need be. I could put three across with common 4 foot gaps but that could look a little weird. I'd have to play around a lot. Would also probably just get a cheap poor condition 10x20 just to use as a car port and work space too.
Would it increase the cost that much to put balconies, terraces or at least a little space for plants?
I would like something like this for the smallest bathroom in the house.
The apartments aren't that small though the buildings are ugly. Balconies are common, but because it's a winter country people cover them with glass windows. There are probably balconies on the other side.
Maybe you can install custom roofing with wide arches that carry the load
Like just take the container, remove the separating wall, and lean the roof on a support. Actually i read up a little on tiny houses and it seems you can get concrete shell houses for cheap, maybe you can just make a bigger concrete dome for a little more money
has science gone too far?
They have to make space for the secret italian supercat
Holy shit, you all actually want to live in literal prison cells. I expect this kind of backwards from yuropoors, but American flags? What the fuck, Americhads...?
how was anyone supposed to magically know those conditions where you live you fat retard
You stupid illiterate piece of shit finnfuck why don't you jump in a sauna and kill yourself lmao fucking pigshit loser bitchboi
>have explosive diarreha
>trying to wash your hands afterwards just ends up smearing the sink with your shit
SASUGA NIPPON
>You know what else has forests/parks? Africa.
I bet the average African yokel is happier than you are
I'll have to read up on those. I'm afraid it's time for me to go to bed however. Good talking to you Swedeanon.

>finnfuck
Y-you too burgerfren
Oh well back to my 27 sq m apartment dreaming about my own house...
i love them
I find the idea of them comfy but it would be fucking hell to actually live in
>finnfuck
peak comfy
this thread has given me some inspiration
time to boot up sims 4 and create tiny homes
I find Finland so interesting. Like, it's a Nordic country but it seems so ex-Soviet
My 38 square meter apartment. It's perfect for me.
pretty comfy, except for the little boy bed
I'm poor, it's all I could afford. I used to sleep on my couch.
Based Lidl chad
>38 square meter apartment
I have 35 square meters, but still managed to have a separate sleeping room and washing machine on the bathroom. I guess your kitchen is a little bigger than mine, and the bathtub probably takes a lot of space.
Lidl truly is the thinking mans choice.
I also have a rather large closet in the hallway that takes up several sqm.
It's packed with boxes now since I moved not long ago. And I'm lazy.
You could raise a family of 2 in there lmaoooooooooooooo
Ah, that helps. Yeah, I have almost no closet space whatsoever (hence why I mounted the bookshelf on the wall above the kitchen entrance). It doesn't help that the basement is tiny either.
amazing how you fit a fucking drum kit in there lmao
Ah. No idea what my basement looks like, have not been down there yet.
But the closet will come in handy once I start accumulating more stuff. Need to clear out all the boxes first but I have a nice recycling room behind the house for all that stuff.
Here's mine
Yeah, the bedroom is pretty crammed. A normal person would probably use that space for a tall closet instead, and have a dinner table rather than a battlestation in the middle of the living room, lol.
Looks nice. I like the wall/shelf between the room/kitchen.
Still the best 1 room I've seen to this date, swedenbro.

When uni students have apartments that working couples here can't have.
It seems the folk needs to rise up. And the system needs to find a suitable scapegoat asap.
>you will live in the pods.
I live in a 200m2 apartment alone
It's kinda lonely
>When uni students have apartments that working couples here can't have.
I'm I'm not a uni student, I'm 34 years old with 8 years experience and can barely afford the mortgage on my shitty tiny condo. Starting a family is unrealistic in this economy.
Small apartments would be nice if their cost was commensurate with size, but they rarely are. Everywhere I've lived the options have been along the lines of $1000 for a studio, $1100 for a one bedroom, $800 for a room in a two bedroom.
Thanks fren, I like it too, just need to get some more plants (real ones) up there
Thanks, but yours has a separate sleeping room which I'm quite jelly of
Not a fan. My NYC apartment is much bigger but still small and its claustrophobic and sucks if you actually own anything beyond a week's worth of clothes.
>Thanks, but yours has a separate sleeping room which I'm quite jelly of
Yeah, I looked at 9 or 10 apartments before I found one with a separate sleeping room, which was my main requirement when I went apartment hunting.
I did sacrifice some other stuff though, I live on the ground floor (high first floor, but still) so no balcony. And facing a street with a lot of traffic, not to mention the never ending traffic lights in the traffic cross just outside and occasional honking from cars. And also, the storage space here is absolute crap, I need to hang my suit in my hall because there is no closet in the bedroom.
I apologize for my inconsiderate comment, uncle user.
Students here usually live in dorms or other forms of (subsidized) student housing, or in collectives with 3-5 other students. Only those with filthy rich parents have their own place.
absolutely based
Thanks for clearing things up. Dorms or subsidized student housing, or high number collective renting, noted.
Storage place is always crappy when living this small, you just gotta make use of every single space possible (under your bed, inside your sofa etc).
Living on the ground floor is not advisable here: too many immigrants. That said, I still don't live very high up, but at least I have a balcony which is going to be nice when summer comes around. I think it would feel a bit claustrophobic without it.
I have this except nicer in Ruka (Kuusamo), too bad I'm never there anymore
just order every dinner on ubereats/deliveroo/etc lol, just consume you stupid slave
Ruka is pretty nice. Usually go there for a week or so every winter, except this year.
isn't there any built-in ventilation system for those ovens/kitchen thingy?, a chimney or the oven right next to the window could be a solution, else a mess hall if since you're basically stay in a dorm when you're in such room.
Do you live far from there? For me it takes too long to get there and since my grandma who built the cabins for us is dead since 10+ years ago I rarely go there.
Won't ever sell it to the fucking Russians who keep coming there trying to buy everything though.
I just want a normal 60m2 two-room flat with a little balcony I can smoke on.
A 400sqft (37m2) studio apartment in the GTA costs 1500$/month.
YOU WILL LIVE IN THE POD
YOU WILL EAT THE BUGS
and you will WEAR THE MASK
My apartment is 45 square meters. It's not too big, not too small.
My old student flat was only 21sqm, it was horrible.
Why didn't you go this year? Afraid of catching the coof during skiing? Lmao.
Kitchen looks very crowded desu
The architecture is a reflection of their soul
I like a bit of clutter.
Just make sure you don't hurt yourself, kitchens can be quite dangerous
Yea, I live some 700km from there which is why I usually stay around for a good while when possible. And yeah, getting there by car is quite the drive from Sweden and Rovaniemi airport is +200km away from Ruka too.
>Won't ever sell it to the fucking Russians
Absolutely based. Fuck the Russians trying to buy off every plot of Finnish soil they get their corrupt fingers on.
>tfw no 120 m2 apartment i can turn into an indoor oasis
Comfy.
Grim. Imagine your whole living space being damp for the rest of the day because you had a shower. Or not being able to cook without stinking out the entire apartment (although you pic doesn't even have a kitchen).
I live in a 400 sq ft guest house for $1100 a month in California.
Beautiful picture. Fuck Russians and fuck the traitors who sell their land to them.
>Living on the ground floor is not advisable here: too many immigrants.
It's the same problem here tbqh, but they're usually just loud so. Although sometimes it's more serious stuff, pic related.
I lived on the first floor in my first apartment.
My friends used to climb inside through the living room window instead of walking around and through the door kek.
Seethe more, your land WILL be Russian.
I think you can do better than that for a table mate
yeah but how good is the ventilation going to be in these tiny flats? I don't think it's enough to contain the smell of cooking
Probably, but it's on wheels and easy to move when I have lots of people here, which is pretty often.
You know what happened last time your kind tried to invade Nikolai
Can you screw a rectangle of plywood on the surface so you seal the spaces between the planks?
Finland lost the war, contrary to popular belief, it basically was soviet-lite before the wall fell.
I could. Pretty smart actually, will look into it.
another reason to never live in a capital shitty
You already tried twice.
nytimes.com
>bed over the kitchen
>fridge at the ass end of the apartment
"no."
>glass door for the toilet
Crazy story, the sheer will to live is as impressive as the fact he ate 30 pills.
I will not hesitate to retell it to anyone who can understand. Maybe I will try to suggest it to a couple of storytelling YouTubers.
^_^ You might even varnish the plywood first and let it dry somewhere dry and isolated from your living space so you don't get bothered by it's strong smell while it dries. And later choose some table covering (it can be sold by meter) and cover the table. It will be part of laundry.
>a spinning machine so you don't get the feeling you're trapped
Very ingenious. Damned ingenious.
my OCD says no
This one is the smallest reasonable size
>good luck not falling off that bed in the middle of the night.
you ever fell off a bed?
why do you have an airfryer in your bathroom?
>pallets
