Why are Kransnodar and Tyumen growing so quickly meanwhile Samara and Volgograd are declining?
Largest Russian cities
answer : sex
Krasnodar (climate) and Tyumen (oil) are rich and the other ones aren't
for me, its ufa
Why
it sounds like a sigh of relief
And whats up with voronezh?
More like goofa
Villages are dying out everywhere in central Russia so young people must move somewhere
From what I heard Voronezh is a shithole
Chadsnodar
Simple as
Krasnodar krai is russian California (in good way)
Idk why but I get the feeling Kazan and Rostov on don are incredibly based
It's insane how many no-name cities over 1 million inhabitants Russia has, have you ever heard of Ufa or Samara? Me neither, but they're probably huge industrial, cultural and economic centres for Russia.
>Samara
>Ufa
Kek
I think its natural
I don't know any polish cities aside from Warsaw and Krakow too
I've heard of Samara but only because ima aviation autist
Yeah, a city with 1M people would be important in Europe, but for some reason Russians make us believe that anything outside SpB and Moscow is a village.
VGH
THE BEES OF VFA
There were just 3 cities with 1 million population before Soviets started moving village retards there
Saint Petersburg
Moscow
Nizhny Novgorod
No,Krasnodar,Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Tyumen are fine too
They don't have populations of over 1 million though
Well they are capital and ex-capital
Yeah and?
Russians know about these "no name" cities and non russians don't,what the matter with it?
based
Warsaw is 1.7 million
I mean cities aside from Warsaw and Krakow
Well historically russians had more sex than polacks and therefore we have more people
Only cities with great international history are famous
For Russia it would be two capitals, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Novgorod, Smolensk known for their epic battles with Swedes, Poles, Lithuanians, Germans etc

Some deep places with no international history like Perm or Novosibirsk aren't interesting
It's a shame that cities such as Smolensk or Pskov are so underdeveloped. It's them that should have 1M people.
>Only cities with great international history are famous
Well, in Europe or America a lot of cities without great history are famous for some reason too.
Of course this 'fame' usually mean recognition in westoid culture which is usually Anglo culture. That's why everyone knows Indian cities, because India was "lucky" to be a British colony so their cities were often described in British (and subsequently - world) literature, while cities in China are completely unknown to the world (actually all of them except for Beijing and Shanghai, I don't count HK as Chinese in this case). Russia wasn't explored by western travellers a lot so westoids don't know a lot about its cities either.
Pskov was the 3rd largest city and it's well recorded.
Novgorod was bigger than Moscow until 1400s or 1500s. Wars haven't been nice on it
Tyumen is growing because the region profits from oil and gas fields. The salaries are higher so many people move there from other parts of the country. Plenty of new neighborhoods are being build constantly. The city itself is nothing special
In Krasnodar it's because the climate is very warm, even in winter the daily mean temperature is above 0°C
Krasnodar is growing because of the agriculture.
Ah yes, the famous agriculture of 1 million people cities
I also heard climate is the reason why many Russians move to Kaliningrad. Kinda weird because I don't think it has particularly mild climate but that's how they imagine it to be
>In Krasnodar it's because the climate is very warm, even in winter the daily mean temperature is above 0°C
Yes this is extremely warm
Does Nizhny Novgorod sound funny to Russians too?
It translate roughly to "lower new town" so not really
That is not really living
Im quite alright thanks
i know lada samara
it's actually pretty fun
>it has particularly mild climate
Yes, it does
Why are those two patches in Siberia particurlarly cold?
