Lot of people really don't understand this at all. Most voters under 35 are not leftists, they just don't vote. What happens is that as the non-voters get older, they start voting because they start having things to care about in life and they vote Tory because they want to protect their assets mostly. The left will find that its hopes of waiting for young people to grow up are really misplaced as they find people will just vote in their self-interest, as they always have and always will.

I doubt it. Millennials and zoomers have only spent the Blair years under a Labour government, and those years were the last years where prosperity and social mobility consistently improved.
