I am working towards becoming a filmmaker, and by god I will make a Kaiju movie. It's a dream of mine, and one of the reasons I decided that I want to become a filmmaker. I'll make my country's first monster movie, and I'll treat it with respect. I can't see the effects looking all that amazing, but I can see the human story being one of the highlights, and not just padding between when the monster shows up.
Gonna watch vs Gigan today, afterwards I might watch Megalon or vs Destroyah. I've also been wondering what are the best films with Rodan in them, since he's obviously one of the big guys but I haven't run into him yet. For reference here's what I've seen so far:
