Day of the Dead is the best George Romero movie because it's an actual film with plot structure, stakes and character motivations. The rest of his filmography is unwatchable garbage. When a person unironically tells you that "Dawn of The Dead is le greatest zombie movie" know that your are speaking to a Reddit bugman with borrowed opinions, because that film is emblematic of overrated poorly directed grindhouse trash Romero put out.

It was a mix between day off the dead and land of the Dead. A lot of stuff he couldn't fit into Day wound up in land. I don't know if Rhodes was even in the original script but you can find it online, it's been a while since I read it. But it's pretty fucking crazy. There were more Bub zombies, they were like sharpshooters

Yes and that beats the overall boring atmostphere in Day. Don't get me wrong, I love Day, but it's pure drunkenness to say that it's better than Dawn or Night, especially NotD90.
