Well we don't really know enough about Demon God Laplace. Here are the necessary traits for Demon God Laplace's reincarnation that we do know of.

>no touki (Rudi)

>some sort of demon eyes (some random unnamed people with Laplace Factor)
Over time the people born with some combination of these traits will increase until somebody with all of them is born and Laplace reincarnates. Unsure if Demon God Laplace will be born with the Curse of Hatred or if offloading that onto the Supard using the cursed spears got rid of it permanently. Badi also says something about how Rudi shouldn't try to use magic the way Laplace does because he doesn't have the body for it and would destroy himself.

Going forward this is all conjecture and headcanon. I'm guessing Laplace doesn't have the same restrictions as Rudi does. For example, Rudi can only cast up to two spells at once and only casts them from his hands. If Laplace can cast more than two spells at the same time and can cast them from any part of his body he would be a pain in the ass to deal with even for top tier human swordsmen like Gull Farion. He also might be able to cast chantless magic faster than Rudi and Sylphy (chantless magic isn't instant, stronger spells need time to charge up and even weaker spells require the caster to think about it and set variables). Then there is the matter of his demon blood. I doubt his immortality is as strong as Badi's and Atofe's, but it's probably strong enough that he can combine it with chantless healing magic and ignore collateral damage from large spells. Laplace also seems to have intimate knowledge on magic tools and curses, Cliff's research follows a similar concept as Laplace's cursed spears after all and Cliff is a prodigy in that field. Combining all of this, it would make sense why Demon God Laplace is one of the Upper Rank Seven World Powers.

If possible, I would go full human experimentation and try to mass produce miko by keeping people in magic crystals for extended periods of time. Eventually, one with the ability to bypass the spirit contract and give others the ability to cheat death would be created. The results would probably be purely random without intense research into the matter. You would need the same level of knowledge as DDK Laplace so that's probably impossible for a normal human brain. Since he can't see what will happen, he can only hope for the best. Not that there would be any point since killing Orsted will just cause the world to loop, but Hitogami seems unaware of this.

This person she can sense is the Playback Miko who is literally in the future changing the past.

Eris blaming her 11 year old son for being abducted by a 20+ year old woman and even cutting off his arm made zero sense. Makes her out to be a woman with no motherly feelings towards her young son. Rifujin erased any sort of motherly feelings from Eris so he could make it seem like Rudi was in the minority and therefore overreacting. In fact, they're all written so Rifujin can guilt trip Rudi and the reader into accepting the relationship and not blaming Aisha. Then Aisha's character is the most egregious. Making her into a sociopath who never loved anyone truly until Ars directly contradicts and invalidates all of her character development from the main story.

It was horrible schlocky garbage and the author should have retconned it out. But just the other day on Twitter he said the pairing is still canon and plans to rewrite it again.

I thought the volume did pretty good. It had a lot of character development for Rudy. The whole panty worship thing caused whiplash before the volume was released. In the WN, it was just a silly joke and then all of a sudden in the school arc it was full on paganism. The new LN helped explain the transition by showing how much Rudy relied on the panties during his 2 year time skip.

Rudeus literally heard Aisha moaning and the sound of her doing Ars in a cowgirl position, he the opened the door and saw what was going on, Aisha literally giving Ars something was no nephew might get from his aunt. That probably hurt the readers, well that chapters gone now but you might find it if you search enough, if you wanna know what was wrong, it was how well the author described it.

Not sure why DDK would have less mana than Demon God Laplace, who apparently has about as much as Rudi. DDK is half Demon Race anyway so he shouldn't be a manalet even if the Dragon Race are manalets. Not sure about the other Dragon Generals though. The only manalet I can think of is 99th generation Dragon God Urupein. By that point you can hardly consider him Dragon Race though, if he had Dragon Race blood it was probably very small. The painting of him in the Asura palace looks nothing like the original Dragon Race who were mostly genocided. As an aside, Orsted actually has a ton of mana it just recovers super slow in exchange for looping. But Orsted's father was the 1st Dragon God and his mother was the daughter of the Human God so he isn't really a good baseline for the Dragon Race overall.

As in binge the 6 episodes of the anime? You're not missing out on much compared to the source material really. Anime is a great adaptation so far, leagues better than the manga. The most significant cut was the Zenith POV. If you're confused about things concerning Zenith after binging come back and ask, I'm sure someone can hook you up with the right chapter.

Don't expect much going in now though, the Call to Adventure hasn't happened yet. Still in the middle of volume 2 out of over 20 volumes. Faithful adaptation means slow adaptation.

usually LN animes have lots of things skipped over so I wanted to know if I'd be missing out on anything important.
Also I heard mixed opinions on the manga so I wasn't sure which to start first.

At the end of volume 1 she gets a chapter from her point of view explaining a bit about her past with Paul and her thoughts on the drama as well as her thoughts on Rudi. While her internal monologue is going, Rudi and her are caring for Norn and Aisha. It should be the last chapter of volume 1 in the WN (and probably the LN too).

Hard to tell how consistently the studio will be faithful. If they keep up at their current quality though I would recommend watching the anime and then jumping into the source material after the show ends if you are hooked. So far this is one of the best LN adaptations I have seen. There is very little cut content and the small additions are all charming and otherwise unimportant. The manga isn't awful necessarily, just too comedic. It fails to convey the tone properly, though it does have some funny moments. It feels supplemental to the LN rather than a self-contained adaptation.

For reference, season 1 is split cour. 11 episodes this season, then 12 more in the Summer. Based on PV's the second cour will end on the conclusion of volume 6, so roughly 3 volumes per cour.

Can only conur with this. I was rather lenient with the whole arc until the later sylphy and rudeus marriage sol which went on for way too long and was extremely boring. Considering how little I gave a shit about sylphy back then and how much I usually hate this kind of romance, where one party is unaware of the others feelings but the other party lacks the courage to confess (even though it's obvious what would happen once they do so), that was the best that could've happened.

Honestly I only read the WN and didn't mind the School Arc much at all. Had a much harder time getting through volume 3.

This isn't really the case in MT though. The Demon Continent is divided between over 30 Demon Lords. The last war between the demon race and human race, the Laplace Campaign, was only possible because Laplace spent ~100 years beating people up and uniting the Demon Race.

They’re basically mutants from the demon world which was a miasma ridden hellhole and contributed greatly to their mutation the common thing many of their tribes seem to share is that they can manipulate the cells of their body or at least that was mentioned somewhere. It would be nice to have that side story about Syphie. But that chapter was pretty short, not really enough for an episode. And if they spend half of an episode on her that's gonna take up already limited time for Rudy's story.
Perhaps after the birthday party episode, they can start with Syphie, at the midpoint she would say "I wonder what Rudy is doing" and cut to Rudy and then onto the teleportation as the cliff hanger at the end of the episode.
