So I watched a little inuyasha as a kid on adult swim but never even gave the series a thought as an adult.
I don’t remember much about the series besides some retarded squirrel kid, a bear man who did nothing, and the boomerang chick.
Is it actually a decent read/watch? Or is most of the enjoyment from nostalgia?

With nostalgoggles off, l think it's an entertaining show. At worst you may find the naraku bogeyman too tedious and some of the fights meh tier with the dbz syndrome (oh noes, all of inuyasha's friends are just standing there doing nothing, and only inuyasha himself can fix the problem/beat the villain!)
