Alright, Kimetsu bros, I want to have some real talk. I wrote a big criticism (review) about kny, and I have two questions for you. Do you trust Gotoge? Do you see Gotoge's hackery? If you think Gotoge is not a hack, then find an answer to these things, please:
>Forgets to add one year to characters' ages (the year that took place during the narrative of the manga)
>Makes UM2 battle 3,5 hours long
>Makes UM2 the strongest and smartest demon, then retcons it to make two weaklings win
>Retcons one whole plotline
>Trashes almost all characters, some even creates directly in the dumpster
>Wants to make Tanjirou a saint, makes him a two-faced liar
>Magically tells Kuwajima that Kaigaku became a demon, so whole UM6 battle in the fortress can happen
>Ressurects all characters only for happiness of fans and tells about it with direct words
>HACKS chapters 201-205 with pure bad writing
>Completely trashes the tone of the story
>Adds unnecessary details that contradict and make worse the manga itself by creating holes in logic or plot
>Makes for itself "pet characters" (The Jesus and the Selfinsert) and now wanks them regularly
>Completely annhilates any agency of the main villain which makes any danger he poses laughable, so the main conflict also becomes laughable
>Makes Tokyo prefecture (2,194 km²) the birthplace of all relevant characters
If you are interested in my reasoning, then welcome to my 60 pages long google document with critical analysis. During past year since the end of kny I was slowly losing my sanity, until I wrote this and had to get meds as an unironic shizo.

How so? He isn't even the smartest or strongest demon, otherwise he wouldn't be in the #2 slot
>docs.google.com
jfc, take your meds, dude
>smartest demon
>spent his entire fight against Shinobu eating poison even if he wasn’t sure whether the poison’d be effective
Kny should have unironically been longer. The asspulls and power creep come too fast and there's no build up. You go from generic shit demon to the strongest 12, but 6 of them are fodder, and now end game. I did like that main bad guy got killed for a lot of different reasons and not just mc getting another random boost.
That last chapter really was trash though. How many lines did he snort
>I did like that main bad guy got killed for a lot of different reasons and not just mc getting another random boost.
I just wish four of those reasons weren't O MY ANTI DEMON DRUG
>Douma would need to be smart and cunning in order to hide from the eyes of Ubuyashiki in plain sight for more than a hundred years, being a famous person.
>Douma's control over his blood demon techniques was unrivaled. Chapter 143 even shows how he caught Shinobu with lotus stems as she began to fall. The writhing and moving stems of a lotus made from ice. Ice, by the way, is solid and does not bend. That is, Douma had deliberately guided these stalks of ice, making them wriggle and grow like real plants in a fraction of a second.
>Douma was probably the most powerful Upper Moon for humans, unless he was the most powerful demon against humans. Muzan's poison and tentacles are certainly effective, but Muzan's poison acts slower than an ice cloud, causing immediate lung necrosis, and a whirlwind of ice spikes / fragments can cut people into mince in an instant as well as toothy tentacles. At the same time, Douma himself could sit in an ice capsule or statue, from where it would be impossible to scratch him out. Of course, Douma could not take the place of the Upper Moon One, due to the fact that Kokushibou was a demon, he could cut the ice and, in an instant, heal any damage received, but his blood demon technique was definitely more deadly for people than moon sickles.
...
>only 64 pages long
You will never reach the levels of that one /sp/ dude who essentially wrote a 127 page essay on another tripfag
Well it's not like it came out of nowhere. We knew that she was collecting blood this entire time. Also the drug only helped weaken him not straight up kill him
Douma isn't famous, idk where you got that idea.
None of this answers how it was a supposed retcon.
Its just a simple fact that Douma didn't take his fight with Kanao and Inosuke seriously after consuming Shinobu, but it kept his attention just enough to hide the effects of her poison.
Op here, demon drugs were quite okay, because Tamayo worked on them for hundreds of years. They are not the problem.
Muzan was trashed, because he was shown as a complete idiot. He was shown to be too stupid to be considered a treat.
>127
97 pages, sorry
Anyway my point is get your ass in gear if you wanna be a true schizo
I missed the part where he was implied to be a threat due to his intelligence. Everyone was afraid because he was a super demon
4 effects were overkill and made it feel like an asspull, just have the demon curing effect nerf him and one extra effect to stop him from splitting to escape
>64 pages of COPE
Hilarious.
I agree with that. Literally no reason for all of them
He was just too arrogant, just like he was when he was human.
Everyone can agree with that.
Hopefully ufo fixes the fight in general, since the core is good, just needs less medicines and muzan himself to improve his moves.
He was famous, because he was the head of a famous cult. He was a famous prophet of that cult.
It's a retcon, because firstly the author showa that Douma was the head of the cult, then he shows that Douma had incredible control over his very deadly for humans BDA, then he makes that battle 3.5 hours.
>three and a half hours is the conclusion of calculations, if you count the entire time of the final battle from start to finish. This is used in direct words in the manga: an hour before dawn, Muzan remembers that Tamayo poisoned him five hours ago, when all the demon hunters fell in the fortress. Shinobu met with Douma immediately after and spent the minimum amount of time with him, after which Kanao came running to watch Shinobu get eaten, and then during the entire battle with Upper Moon Six, Upper Moon Three and unconscious of Tanjirou and Tomioka, there was going on the battle with Upper Moon Two
And then the author does not consider that ice is cold, and during that time (3+ hours) a room with a real lake will become a freezer.
Douma, also, did not care about Kanao or Inosuke (they were quite boring to him, compared to Shinobu, whom he killed in 10-15 minutes).
But somehow he lost in 3+ hours to Kanao and Inosuke, who are not strong demon hunters.
Well, did that guy translated his document?
What even was the point of the bottom 6. They were so bad they weren't even allowed to job. Why even have fucking 12
>He was famous, because he was the head of a famous cult. He was a famous prophet of that cult.
It never stated that if Douma cult was famous and well-know or not. The point of a cult is that it's like a secret society.
He never was a treat due to his intelligence. I was just saying that he looked too laughable to be a good final villian.
Giving visible promotion goals to your underlings is a good thing if you want them to improve.
The cult wasn't famous.
Douma just played with his food, he decided to leave when he was actually bored of the fight.
The top 6 are pretty much only there because of how much blood they could handle
Muzan's strongest traits were
>being unkillable
>being able to oneshot literally any human being or demon
Then, how did Kotoha found this cult? Why did she think that someone would help her here? Then, how could there be so many followers? If the cult was small, everyone would have noticed that a lot of people vanished during a meeting with the prophet. But no one did, and Douma still ate a lot of followers, and the cult still was big enough, so no one noticed missing people.
And muzan gives his own blood as a basic reward system.
If you think of it as a corporation what Muzan did makes sense.
Alot was spoken but nothing was said.
He literally got too cocky and fell for the ruse cruise inside the hq
She was literally just running away from her abusive husband and MIL, the only reason they even found the cult was because they were following her
The fact that she ends up getting lost the time she runs from Douma shows she doesn't know where she was going
Please, answer me this: why did Douma kill Shinobu, who actually caught his interest, not even 10 minutes after meeting her, and why didn't Douma kill Kanao and Inosuke, who managed to annoy him a little bit, in three hours? It's impossible to trow away the time, because where were these 3 hours, if not in the battle with UM2 that Tanjirou and Tomioka slept through?
Sure but he should have made it 10 people or something. That way there's no need to kill of most of them. You know damn well the lower 6 were killed because there were too many of them and the story needed to keep going. Specislly after spiderboy was week enough to get one shotted
>Specislly after spiderboy was week enough to get one shotted
Exactly.
Why keep a group of demons who all get one shotted by pìllars anyway? He only kept enmu and roided him.
It was an actually smart writing choice, since every other story would have showed their fights.
Because Shinobu made herself bait and actively planned to be consumed, and Kanao and Inosuke did not
The smart writing choice is not writing yourself in to a corner, the 12 were always implied to be an actual threat but only the top 6 were.
>11 rereads
I feel genuinely bad for you.
>but only the top 6 were.
Exactly, you learn this the moment they were executed.
The story hypes up the LMs, then you have a pillar easily one shotting one and suddenly they aren't that strong and are disposed of like trash.
It was a cool subversion of the usual when the story itself acknowledges them as fodder.
>Akaza is about to win the fight
>JUST BE A TREE BRO
>loses
>kills himself
Maybe it's the wording or translation, but for me it seems that Kotoha knew where she ran. And after that, her MiL and husband found her in the cult.
>lose
>kill yourself
YES.
Unlike koku who had to be put down like a feral animal.
>Link to my 64 pages long criticism (review): docs.google.com
Jeremy... i fucking kneel
This does not answer my question, because Shinobu's wants do not affect for Douma's actions. If he wanted, he could have just killed her. If he wanted, he could have eaten Kanao too. Shinobu's plan does not matter, because Douma does not act accordingly to it. He does not know this plan.
Look at this picture and say that he was not even a little bit annoyed with Kanao, that he did not want to kill her asap.
Thats not subversion that's the author writing off characters. All of the stuff saying that lower 6 were weak came after they were written off. Before all the hashira wanted to fight them because how strong they were. You can argue because they didn't know better but what is gained from subverting something like that? The lower 6 should have been used to slowly allow Tanjiro and crew to get stronger. Going from almost dying to the weakest to a top 6 is powetr creep at its finest. Fuck not even dying to the top 6, they almost died to the fodder that the bottom 6 created
I'm not Jeremy, because that bitch is 100% murican, not gopnik
Yes they do, she actively planned to be eaten so she did not plan to put in as much of a fight to stay alive, Kanao actively planned to stay alive and Inosuke wasnt even a part of the fight for a bit.
Pretty sure it was also confirmed somewhere that Kanao was stronger than Shinobu
this stuff about trying to piece together an exact timeline is really autistic and irrelevant to any meaningful criticism, the points about the series portrayal of death and wani chickening out at the end are valid though.
don't forget that killing a lower moon was enough to get someone promoted to pillar, even if they were part of a group.
I see nobody ever mentioning this but I was kinda pissed off that the kids in Himejima's flashback were revealed to be dindunuffin all along. It kinda ruined his whole character by proxy.
No, in the exact second you see Tomioka getting called, arriving in 5 minutes, and completely dumpstering a lower moon in one hit you know these are just shitters. If Wani had made other arcs involving LMs people would just be left wondering "man who gives a shit why don't they just call a pillar and fix this mess instantly". Even Enmu had to be significantly buffed to pose a threat.
90% of shounen mangaka are hacks and 90% of battle shounen is bad.
Granted, this is their first work. Do t think too hard about it.
What do you mean
>hey what if this poison against Muzan doesn’t work
>Just throw some other shit in there, one of them has to stick
It was hilarious to see”I’ve aged 9000 years!” but it wasn’t egregious
The story is literally perfect. My only criticism is that the fight scenes were difficult to follow
>To begin with, I’ve read the manga "Kimetsu no Yaiba" 11 times from start to finish.
Christ Russoanon. This is some pure distilled concentrated autism—Just started reading and I already love it.
Douma at the start rely on his ice poison to take effect first. However before she died. Shinobu use hand sign to told Kanao not to breath in it like her. After that kanao piss him off, plus he find Inosuke interesting so he play around for awhile, enough for the poison to take effect and created an opening.
>she did not plan to put in as much of a fight to stay alive
I'm pretty sure that Shinobu wanted to avenge her sister with her own hands. You can see this during her part of UM2 battle, where she seethes and thinks about her weakness and inability to do it without her poisonous body.
Kanao was stronger, it is true, but she was not much stronger and she did not have expirience.
To beat UM1 were required two sacrifices, one of which was a Pillar. To beat UM1 were also needed two strongest Pillars.
To beat UM3 was required TnJ, so he would decide himself that he wants to commit suicide. To do this were needed one Pillar and master of TnJ MC.
Both of these battles did not take more than 30-40 minutes (exaggerated).
The rest of time from the start of whole final battle to the moment when Tanjirou woke up was spent on a UM2. Do you just ignore those 3 hours?
Wow, this thread's autism is really being overlooked. This would have been at 300 posts of nothing but reaction images in the old days. I guess it's happened too many times for people to care about anymore.
Maybe its a subversion of typical shounen fare where each member of the evil organization has to be important and defeated by the protagonists.
If this is about seasons, then I just left it here for people who are interested in that, but don't want to count themselves. And it was a wani wank from me. (Good use of background scenery, Wani-sama!)
>Pretty sure it was also confirmed somewhere that Kanao was stronger than Shinobu
maybe it's 'confirmed' in some extra but it's not what's presented in the narrative. a wounded shinobu stabs douma faster than he can react while later douma literally plucks kanao's sword out of her hands just for a laugh
>The main idea of the manga "Kimetsu no yaiba", in my opinion, is "Acceptance of death and continuation of life". "
How can this be the case then the literal 1st chapter and the rest of the entire manga is Tanjiro not accepting Nezuko's death
They did not dindu nuffin, they just want Himejima to see them as angels. I do not trust the words of dead kids who want the approval of their caretaker. Yes, they say so, but is it true?
the way the scene is presented is clearly intending for the reader to take it as the truth
Is she dead yet? No? Then she can be saved.
Tanjirou also gives zero shits about surviving as long as someone finishes the job.
>Tanjirou accepts the death of his family, as a result of which he finds hope in Nezuko, in the act of saving her, and focuses on this. (+)
This doesn't make any sense, he didn't accept their deaths and refused to let Nezuko die too and becomes a demon slayer in order to stop other demons killing other people. All his actions are extremely anti-death, he won't let anyone die. The only death he's willing to accept is his own and even then it's only so someone else can live because of it.
>I'm pretty sure that Shinobu wanted to avenge her sister with her own hands.
What whe wanted to do, but she knows she couldn't do, thats why she filled her body with poison and told Kanao her plan.
I'm a little confused as to where you're getting 3 hours from
He accepts the death of his family....
Nezuko is not dead at that moment, she is just "sick"
Necrosis covered Shinobu's lungs in time, when she applied fifth poison (ch. 142). She was very fast in applying those poisons.
Also, the room was filled with water. How did it not freeze? How did it not become a death trap filled with pure poisonous ice?
Douma literally just didn't plan on killing them this fight, he decided to have them show off all their techniques and kill them in the next time they battle
>Taking whatever shit Gotoge wants readers to think as truth, when he/she/xhe/it made Tanjirou quite two-faced "saint", forgot to count one year that took place during the plot, made Tokyo prefecture (2,194 km²) the birthplace of all relevant characters except Uzui.
Why don't doctors just accept the death of their patients and just let them die? Also Nezuko didn't die, she was sick. There still hope for her. ALso Tanjirou did acept his family death, he just doesn't want everyone else to die such meaningless death like that. Death is a thing no one can avoid, those try to escape them end up harming more people.
>Tanjirou quite two-faced "saint"
What is this bitterness over Tanjiro being nice and also not a little bitch
90% of my criticism of this manga is how shit doesn’t take place in the right order. We have an event take place followed by a flashback to make it feel foreshadowed. It’s cheap. You could make it so much better by just moving the scenes around.
I knew from the moment I read that chapter that he wasn’t intentionally accused of murder, the other children being less culpable wasn’t hard to deduce.
He accepted them in a sense that he let go of them. Nezuko does not count - she is alive, she is just a demon.
>How did it not freeze? How did it not become a death trap filled with pure poisonous ice?
Because his blood technique is a controlled situation?
The long version is in the document part II point №4.
Short version is:
>three and a half hours is the conclusion of calculations, if you count the entire time of the final battle from start to finish. This is used in direct words in the manga: an hour before dawn, Muzan remembers that Tamayo poisoned him five hours ago, when all the demon hunters fell in the fortress. Shinobu met with Douma immediately after and spent the minimum amount of time with him, after which Kanao came running to watch Shinobu get eaten, and then during the entire battle with Upper Moon Six, Upper Moon Three and unconscious of Tanjirou and Tomioka, there was going on the battle with Upper Moon Two
It's not bitternes, I talk about it for a couple of pages in the final chapters section. It's praise, I really liked that moment
Yeah I'm not reading your document
You're also basically just guessing
>>Why don't doctors just accept the death of their patients and just let them die?
Plenty do. There's are DNR orders, EOC orders, dignity issues, Life support termination decisions. Discharge decisions. It gets to a point where they consider what is in the patient's best interests or what more they feel they could do. Emergency Doctors have to make that decision frequently throughout their careers. They do the best to save but cannot save everyone. In Kimetsu's world, it's clear almost everyone except Tanjiro felt Nezuko was beyond saving, it's only Tanjorio's staunch unwillingless to not accept it that she lived. That's a clear rejection of death. I'm supposing it depends where you are counting this acceptance of death from, either after they have already died or before it. If after I can see there being no choice but to accept but I'd still argue that many of the pillars and slayers exist precisely because they cannot accept these deaths and will do anything to prevent them happening ever again.
>That’s not all, the deaths of all the characters are not accepted and in the last chapter their reincarnations appear, who look identical to the dead characters, which hints at a direct reincarnation. Not only was the execution (how exactly these events were written, their plot construction) of these two moments was done very roughly, flaunting illogical, far-fetched elements that go against the previously established plot and create large holes in the logic of the narrative, these two moments also completely destroyed the thought of acceptance of death and continuation of life, the idea that there are no second chances, that you have to live and survive with what life has prepared for you.
I again disagree and feel the final chapter is very fitting with what I feel was the entire manga's anti-death stance hence the reincarnation of the previous characters in the modern era. The wills, spirits, emotions, are all passed down and every death in the manga has an unending effect on the characters within almost all of which are gathered because of their refusal to accept the loss of the loved ones.
Death certainly plays a large thematic role. The Pillars and slayers are willing to die to save others they care about whereas the demons are willing to kill only to save themselves. There was a fear of death on both sides with Slayers afraid of losing other people's and demons afraid of losing only their own lives.
Why would he not freeze all this water? His ice was cold anyway, and he made a lot of ice which should have at least lowered the temperature. His weapons were fans, so in addition to making ice, Douma also made cold air that should have created by itself, at least, a thin layer of ice on the brigde.
Bun
Estimating. You could do it yourself, and see for yourself that time is lost somewhere between hard numbers from manga. The question is: where could it be lost? There's not a lot of answers, only one - the battle that was bisected, during which Tanjirou slept
Replied to a wrong person
the real plot hole is why only genya tried eating demons
What benefit is there for him to freeze the water, it gets in the way more for Kanao and Inosuke
My biggest issue with the series is that the upskirt shots are inconsistent. All the females, mainly Nezuko, always have their legs, or various other objects, positioned in such a way that conveniently block their panties from being seen despite being in a pose that would normally allow said panties to be seen had the camera been placed slightly to the left or to the right. However, they openly allow this unimportant demon from episode 2 to show his underwear when he goes to lift his leg. What is the purpose of this selective censorship?
I mostly talked about it later, but for me the biggest problems with reincarnations were change of setting and that I cannot see this reincarnation as any other than "for fans".
After additional pages from volume 23, namely opening pages of chapter 205, my already low opinion about this reincarnation suddenly plummeted even lower.
If the characters look exactly like their "previous" versions, if they act exactly like those previous versions (I don't really count descendants in this, mostly mean Pillars and other non-MC's), if one of the characters says: "When I thought how everyone could be living happy lives after being reincarnated, I felt like my sadness and loneliness went away a little bit, and it made me feel better", I just cannot see how it is not done just for fans to be happy that their favorites are alive.
Taisho women did not wear underwear
that's a guy
ok i finished reading the whole thing, it's an interesting write up actually. little nitpicky but the main thematic points are strong. most of it i more or less felt at the time but it's still useful to see it all written out and articulated as something to think about. i appreciate the effort too, the feeling of loving something that stumbles in some small but crucial ways can be maddening.
>Muzan remembers that Tamayo poisoned him five hours ago
That means every battles plus the time they spent running and fighting fodders is 5 hours. For example each UM3 2 1 fights could just last like 30 minutes and the rest of time they tried to find Muzan. I don’t get how you can assume it’s 3 hours when there’s so little information
imagine the smell
>wills, spirits, emotions, are all passed down
ok but that's quite a jump to
>look its all your favorites back! they even have the same scars! (ignore that those were from horrible personal tragedy)
Thank you for the reply, that was quite fast. I'm thinking about mailing it to the intended audience
What? Did I understand this right?
>What benefit for him to freeze the water, if it gets in the way more for Kanao and Inosuke
If it benefits him, because fight gets harder for his opponents, like you say so, then why not freeze the water?
No i meant the water gets in the way more than it would had it been frozen over
user is harder to fight in water that can be freeze if you fall in it that in a frozen water where you can walk and not be freeze to death

Aight user, my dude, please consider getting off the internet and stop reading manga for a while after this thread died.
But it's not freezing at all, even wooden bridges do not get a thin layer of ice. By the way, could Douma's ice melt? It was cold, but I do not know if it could melt.
It was made from his blood, since it's his BDA, so any particle, melted or not, that descended on the bridges should still be poisonous
It does not get in the way in chapter 160 when they were sogged and should have been feeling cold from it, surrounded by demonic ice.
Wouldn’t Breathing combat that
>We have an event take place followed by a flashback to make it feel foreshadowed
It's the Shingeki no Kyojin route and the pretty much everything route, but I don't think there was a way for most of these flashbacks and shit to be presented in any other way without re setting the story completely so that's what they went with. I'm looking forward to Wani's next work, if she ever feels like creating more someday, to see if this was the result of just being a newbie thinking their series was going to end any minute and then quit drawing forever.
I guess,it would help. Would it combat all of the cold, though?
For me it's very hard to imagine not feeling cold in that situation when I'm sitting in my siberian shithole and can't feel my fingers inside my flat with working central heating system. If I was sogged, I'd probably become an icicle
The cold doesn’t seem to spread like normal and is controlled, Inosuke runs away from any dangerous cold because he can sense it coming.
Adrenaline probably helps
Thank you, user. Writing this thing (and being in eternal HoAD about kny ending) helped me realise that I can overcome my addiction to manga and can drop it altogether. I am waiting for snk's shitshow to end, so I can forget about this type of stories.
You’re assuming that every battles had to be happen immediately after the previous one ended. If they had immediate reaction like Yushiro found out Tanjirou’s gonna meet Akaza after UM6 fight or Douma realized Akaza’s dead when he’s fighting Kanao then they’re consecutive. But there’s nothing indicate that UM4 fight happened immediately after UM2. The gap between those fights might be even something like one hour but it didn’t need to be shown because everyone was just running
I disagree, Muzan was so monstrously stronger than the demon slayers even after the poison and scars nerfed him. The slayers needed the poison in order to just hold him back or it wouldn’t make sense for them to fight him.
If it doesn't spread normally, if it's controlled, then why can't it chase Inosuke and Kanao? Even if the ice is not fast, Douma can make infinite amount of it and compeltely cover whole room. Well, I suppose, he doesn't care...
This is the page for that bridge, in the next page Kanroji thinks "Shinobu-chan risked her life for victory, and she is younger than me".
For me, it seems that these two events are connected by "victory over UM2".
I allocated for battles with UM1 and UM4 50 minutes, which can be rounded up to an hour. But battle with Kokushibou was too fast, even death scenes were fast in kimetsu universe time. Battle with Nakime is not a battle, but a couple of jumps here and there. An hour for those is generous.
And I see that UM2 battle can't be 3+ hours, because it's not survivable and it's not logical that way. But I thought about it a lot, and I came to a conclusion that the author just didn't think about it (nothing surprising).
I'm just trying to estimate "in universe" time, and it does not fit anywhere. Those 2-3 hours are just lost, because most things are connected tightly. And to me it was most logical that those hours were "skipped" during Tanjirou's sleep.
Yeah he doesn’t care
The fact that he doesn't care doesn't make it good, because it's lazy writing. What logic is that "I'll let those two weaklings show off their techniques and will kill them later, now, though, I gotta go". It is perfectly understandable that Kanao and Inosuke needed to win that battle, I just don't like the laziness of writing. It's a very poor excuse. Douma cared enough to kill Shinobu, but here he didn't for reasons...?
Personally, I think author wasted an opportunity to make Iguro and Kanroji relevant, while making this fight a lot more believable. Thematical connection with Douma for them is also ready: cult from Iguro's side; beautiful, but strong woman from Kanroji's side.
That’s just connecting too many characters to 1 demon
Like connecting Himejima, Tokitou, Sanemi, Genya and Yoriichi to UM1
He is canonically lazy, prideful and childish, the fan book even says one of his favorite activities is playing with people’s hearts, so him playing with the people fighting for their lives isn’t unusual.
Shinobu basically baited him into eating her with how close she got to him, she knows his appetite for pretty women
>This is the page for that bridge, in the next page Kanroji thinks "Shinobu-chan risked her life for victory, and she is younger than me"
In that page there can be a time gap between Tanjirou’s thought and Mitsuri. Just because it’s two consecutive panel doesn’t mean the second event happened right after the first one. For example normally the fight against UM4 wouldn’t last a whole night, but there’s a lot of running and hide ’n seek that just wasn’t shown because it wasn’t necessary
Yes, doing too many massive group ups would just be clunky, I do wish we saw more of Mitsuri and Obanai, but having them share Douma with Kanao, Shinobu, Kanae, Inosuke and his mother isn’t the best way to go about it, it’d be more interesting to pair them with Akazas fight, since he refuses to kill women and Obanai has a connection to the Rengokus, it fits and makes for an interesting fight
And Muzan could've made an entire army of them and send them all at once instead of being an idiot.
Is Gotouge a woman or what
Maybe.
Pairing them with Akaza's fight is not really good either. It's a recipe for making Kanroji look like a complete clown again, since she would be stripped of seriousness and professionalism again to make some jokes about Akaza not killing women.
Connection with Rengoku seems quite superficial, the fight with UM3 could have been used to expand upon this connection, but in the manga itself all of those characters do not seem very close.
And again, it clutters the fight, as you said, since there should be space for Tanjirou's TnJ and Akaza's memories and thoughts.
The fodders in the Infinite Fortress (that even Murata can kill) were stated to be around Lower Moon level.
there's no way a guy would come up with a character like Tanjiro.
The main pieces of evidence for Gotouge being a woman is:
1- Gotouge has an afterword in a 2014 one-shot (Monju Shiro Kyodai), where Gotouoge says that when hanging with the editor they are sometimes mistaken for a brother and sister
2- Wani's crocodile avatar was drawn with a cheerleader outfit and pon pons
3- Gotouge's handwriting shown in volume extras is said to use round characters, which is feminine/cute/Kawaii
nobody would believe this was written by a boy. But make it kanji and Dab Forums will tell you it was written by a boy.
Kanao is also a pretty woman that was talking venoumosly with him, annoying him. Douma eats all pretty girls (except Inosuke's mom), and he did call Kanao "a gorgeous meal".
It's very obvious that he loves playing with food, his whole fight is him playing with food. And he can be lazy, prideful and childish, and, at the same time, don't make excuses to leave the fight for later.
If you leave during the game, then it's not an interesting game, since you don't even care to watch it to the end with your own eyes. If it's not an interesting game, since you are bored and you don't care, then why not finish it instantly? He wants to kill them later and even makes clones, to finish his opponents more quickly, but it all seems like a stretch to win time for the good guys.
Yeah, Inosuke and Kanao won, and I never had a single problem with Shinobu's part in all of this. But, I just can't accept how Inosuke and Kanao won, because they are not that strong, and they didn't even sustain serious injuries during the battle (one blind eye for Kanao, medium wound for Inosuke, some scratches). And that's a battle against UM2. Kind of underwhelming
For Muzan to think the same question and scrap the whole thing for being a waste of blood.
Rui thinned his blood by splitting it with the "family"
Keeps the others slayers busy for a while and when shit hits the fans can be used as extra gainz.
>took hundreds of years and multiple of them being killed for him to finally realize this
Thanks, user. It's still hard for me to believe this, because I thought that bridge was the words about victory over UM2, not because those panels were placed close to each other.
But I feel myself a little bit better, now that I know that there is a possibility for other placement for those lost hours.
I was not joking when I said that I had to start taking meds because of it. For almost a year now I can't eat or sleep normally, so your thought helped me a bit to ease my insanity
No they don't, the hashira are strong enough to one shot them and I'm pretty sure none had met them. If anything sending them to clear fodder means less food for him
Rank the hashira in terms of strength. Trying to ember if anyone was more useless than titty bitch
9. Shinobu
8. Tits
7. Uzui
6. Rengoku
5. Giyuu
4. Snake Eyes
3. Muichiro
2. Sanemi
1. Gyomei
Well what's the plan now OP, get it published or use it for admission into that private elite high school that all the Jump editors recruit from?
I will rank them as if they all had mark, or as if they all didn't
1) Himejima (self-explanatory)
2) Shinazugawa (Koku's words, the fact that he could fight with his guts almost spilling)
3) Rengoku (could cut Akaza's neck without mark or red blade with big hole in his stomach, was respected by all Pillars)
4) Tokitou (Koku's genes)
5) Iguro (masterful technique)
6) Tomioka (he is kinda meh, he only survived during battles, not really fought)
7) Uzui (I think, he is worse than Tomioka)
8) Shinobu (poisons are not that useless)
9) Kanroji (I'm sorry, but...)
I want to mail it to shueisha, don't know and don't care if it's going to reach Gotoge.
Maybe someday become a writer myself, like I want to. Maybe finally I will buy myself a rope
