The idea of using skills and unintended ways is definitely brought back when Kumo sends her parallel minds to attack mother's soul through kin control's connection and when the hero and the demon lord manages to cast an inter-dimensional spell. It's mostly supposed to show that the system ain't perfect.

It's a pretty good one, considering what ruler authority is. The system isn't ironclad even withou ruler hax, Ariel and Gulli even mention the system was glitchy as hell early on.

Not him, but 'explained' doesn't make it any less stupid or ass-pully. There's a scene in KLK where a hologram of a guy throws a hologram disk at 3 other guys and blows them up, and it's EXPLAINED that it could totally happen because blah blah blah it's dumb. It's fucking stupid and insulting to pull shit out of nowhere and try to explain after the fact that 'uh no actually this is totally possible' and it's a staple of dogshit writing and should be called out at every instance.
