>MC and his love interest are together a decent amount of time before the series ends
Why is this so rare?
MC and his love interest are together a decent amount of time before the series ends
because romance is for fags and trannies, most people want action and adventure not some dumb shits talking about their lovey wuvies
>most people want action and adventure
patently false
It's only rare in certain genres. You think its rare because you treat shounenshit as a standard.
look up the most popular anime
>anime with a satisfying ending gets endless sequels that ruin the original ending
Why is this so common?
filtered
You're not seriously defending the E7 sequels, are you?
yes
Money
and in all these communities there's always significant discussions about romance and which characters should end up with who, along with a lot of frustration when those hints go nowhere

Pretend all e7 sequels dont exist. Also all BONES sequels suck. I cant think of any good ones.
okay, so a manga from mid 00s. what about several popular shows/manga since its so common outside of shonen. bonus points if you don't have to reach for something older than 10 years
Kyoda wanted a depressing DEEP ending while the staff and time constraints overruled him, and has spent the last two decades proving to everyone why that was honestly a pretty good thing. He just doesn't seem to get the hint that people well bloody liked how E7 ended.
Most mangakas have never been in a relationship so they don't know how to write one
That's why romcoms end almost immediately after a girl wins.
Sometimes editors are a good thing. The e7 manga ended with Eurekeas death but it was so shit that I couldnt care.
>t. Virgin
Finding a girl to mate with is a manly task and one that should be more incorporated into shonen manga to prepare boys for their future responsibilities.
>Sometimes editors are a good thing
>most children
