There is little benefit to getting married that outweighs the cons unless you have some precise kid or tax-related reasons for it, guy or girl. Basically, no, a freeloader isn't worth marrying whether you're a gal leeching off of some guy's money or a guy who treats a woman like a maid.

We understand, we just don't want to settle down with train wrecks. The other ways to become elite nowadays is to go through higher education, and get exclusive professional licensing, or run a business.
