Four friends cut off ties to me and i don't know why

one of them in particular, i've been friends with for years. i think they stopped talking to me because i chose not to vote and they see me as a fascist enabler. this is just a guess because they won't respond to my messages and calls.

just thinking about it gives me a pit in my stomach because i don't know what i did. these same people fed me when i was depressed and put a roof over my head when my dorm kicked me out. one of them even said that if i proposed to someone at their wedding, they wouldn't even care because they love me so much as a friend. i miss them so much

Are you right-wing? Do you let people know about your political views somehow? Did you do something that would get someone cancelled on twitter? Or did you just acted like an asshole at some point? All valid options.
Just be honest with youself and look back at what you did. You might be able to get them back if you repent and say sorry.

that's the thing though is that i've had months to think about it and that's all i came up with. i'm not trying to play face and game sympathy points because i genuinely don't know what i did. i lean left on most issues as well, but i didn't vote because i didn't like either candidate and i'm not invested in politics much anyways

Then maybe you just think they cut off ties with you?
Try sending a message like "hey, it's been some time, wanna hang out?" or something like that. If they don't reply or say no, be upfront and ask why not.

i cut off off like four friends recently because my psycho ex put the idea in my head that she mighta fucked them. Bout a 5% chance that she got so far as a kiss. But I'm not willing to take it. Hopefully she dies horribly soon, that would make me feel better enough that I could hang out again, I miss those guys and I hate that stupid, pathetic, piece of rotting period chunks.

This happened to me. Not saying it's the same situation for you but it turned out that an ex of mine lied to them that I'd abused her. It also turned out that those friends who believed her weren't actually good friends in the end and had been looking for a socially acceptable reason to scapegoat someone (not necessarily me- anyone. They soon did the same to another friend.) to feel better about their own failures.

I spent a lot of time wondering what I could have done that made my best buds cut me off like that. It was wasted time. Things turned out alright for me and not alright for them. If you did nothing wrong, forget them as shitty as you feel right now and move forward.
