I use Metamask, but the problem is that I don't think just sending ETH will work, it needs to be ETH that has been bridged to work on that network (forgetting what it's called).

2. Deposit ETH into Binance
3. Buy BNB
4. Create Binance Chain Wallet (chrome extension)
5. Send BNB to Binance Chain Wallet
6. Transfer BNB from Binance Chain Network to Binance Smart Chain Network inside wallet
7. You now have bep20 BNB. Continue using the Binance Chain Wallet or configure Metamask for BSC and reap the benefits of PancakeSwap

Well besides the correct ETH you'll also need some BNB since it's what is used as gas. Not a lot, since each transaction is only like 10-12 cents.
I really did just follow the video I linked step by step and it worked. The only difference is at the end I migrated everything over to Metamask cause the BSC wallet hardly worked. For a VPN on the Binance bridge step I just used a free Chrome extension called VeePN.

>send to BSC wallet add-on as BC tokens
>convert to BSC bep20 tokens
>set up metamask with BSC mainnet
>send to metamask
