well they dont want to save us for anything other than servitude. it makes sense they would operate as if they WILL make it, and on the other side they will need subservient and oh so thankful working class to kick start whatever the next chapter looks like.
as far as the ones who will be genocided, im guessing that from a strategic standpoint, it will make sense to thin the herd ahead of time to save resources, simply because its 20 plus years out, if they continue to allow global growth at its current pace they are a net loss on the supply chain.

Why does nobody have an alternative solution to this, why don't we fucking get everyone to work and build enormous space stations ? large ships in the ocean, underwater shelters, or fleets of planes / high atmosphere planes with a full coverage in solar panels ?
