we've only been able to directly measure the AMOC strength for the past 15 years or so
and the weakening from the data so far exceeds by 10x the predictions from the thunberg-tier models
it also seems to be way more unstable than thought as well. AMOC strength dipped by 30% in just a year around 2009 before recovering a bit

SO every~10-12 years weather seems to have some weird cycle.

I remember back then it was a severe winter indeed. It snowed like hell and on the morning when going to school little me could barely go through the snow because it was 1-1.5 meters or something. That was in Sofia, Bulgaria which is quite unusual for there, the country is very warm even in winters.

the data gathering period is too short to say for sure about longer term trends
but it is obvious that the 10 year trend is steadily moving down so the golf stream is weakening and at a much rapider pace than estimated by thunbergs and science lovers
also seems to have a tendency to slow down significantly which makes sense because of greenland ice melts messing with the northern currents
