I like the DLC characters.

The only one that bothers me is Byleth. I don't dislike Fire Emblem, but I feel Byleths moveset could have gone to Monster Hunter. I'm somewhat satisfied with Byleth, but if you remove Chrom and Lucina from the game, Byleth is a fine addition.

Not only is Twintelle less popular than Min Min, Twintelle's mechanics are easily one of the most terribly designed concepts I've ever seen in a game.
She just perpetually slows time around her while simultaneously building meter, and then react accordingly to one of the two options your opponent has in ARMS:
They punch, you block
They grab = you punch

I've described fighting Twintelle as "Like playing Rock Papar Scissors, except you need to throw out your choice a second earlier."

She may not be the best character in ARMS what with Dr. Coyle being a broken mess, but she's the worst designed.

This is right, the speed of the character fits MH far better than FE, Byleth was fast as fuck in the Three Houses, in Smash they move like a snail. The weapon swapping works perfectly fine as well.

Well, we know now that spirits don't deconfirm so even if Porky did have a spirit I wouldn't have counted him out. Seems more plausible to me than Waluigi at this point anyway.

I bought both character passes on day 1 and the only character I even slightly, slightly give a shit about is Sephiroth. Min-Min and banjo also get a pass imo for having good character design and being relevant Nintendo characters (assuming ARMS will continue as a franchise), I guess Hero is cool despite me having tried Dragon Quest already and knowing it isn't fun but at least I understand Hero. Fuck, I even UNDERSTAND Steve for Christ's sakes and at least he has an incredibly unique playstyle and toolkit.

I can't get over byleth, I almost never say this about anything but if all Byleth content was just straight up removed from the game it would make me happy. I actually went back to beat it (the gym castle, stadium cups) took me the last two days to get finally finish it. the fucking CPU is bullshit, and they abuse the psychic meta before Gen2. emulating it is the way to go for abusing save states, there is no way you can't play it without toggling speed and save/load states because as you challenge trainers in the higher stages all their pokemon know are one-hit-KO moves and Psychic, psychic never misses.

oh yeah the mewtwo event is legit bullshit literally have an Abra(thunder wave)-Muk(screech)-Eggscute(selfdestruct)-Onix(selfdestruct) Thunder Wave then Screech (twice if you can) and Selfdestruct 2x and you win, but Abra needs to survive Mewtwo's Blizzard move, if he doesn't restart the battle.

Rental pokemon are a bitch, and the game wanted you spend money on a transfer pak for ease of playing the game for pokemon with better movesets. I'm glad I was able to beat that shit after coming back to it since 2000. But holy fuck I would have never been able to do it then the CPUs are fucking ridiculous and matches are a snoozefest. Well I absolutely didn't think they would leave Rex out entirely even though I saw people throwing around the Pyra and Mythra idea and I liked it. So that was a neat surprise. It's just that after Min Min and Steve I realized, this is going to be the pass where they put in all the characters they wanted to do in the base game but couldn't. So of course XB2 would be one.

I played WoW for a couple of years. Those expansion costs and game time payments really add up over the years. And all that just to grind shit.

Unpopular opinion: I prefered the second pass to the first one.

I loved Steve, Sephiroth and I enjoyed XC2 to the point I absolutely wanted someone from it, even if I would have prefered Rex and Roc to appear as playable.

Compared to the first pass, I didn't really have any character I loved in the first one.
Joker is not a character that I found fun nor wanted in.
Hero is OK but not that interesting, played him at most twice for his Classic route.
Same with Banjo, nothing really was cool with how he played and I never played his games anyway.
Terry was the only one of the pass I enjoyed, his combos are fun and a mix of simple yet complex gameplay made him stand out.
Byleth is a character whose game I enjoyed but not the character as much in Smash.

In the second pass, at the moment there are two characters I love using and one (two according to the website since they decided to count Pyra and Mythra as two apparently) characters that I really wanted. So this second pass is a win for me.

Frankly if I could really go in the past I would only buy Terry from the first pass and buy the complete second one.

I've probably spent over $400 for my Overwatch Smurfs.

Sorry for the late reply. It was all Dokkan and no I get not get what I wanted. I was rolling for a trunks and I had at least over 50 multipulls on it but it was not happening.

Yeah. It's even less credible than the guy who got Joker, Hero, and Banjo right but then said the last two would be Edelgard and Sylux. I've stopped believing any predictions, it seems like there are truly no leaks and there are just so many people guessing at all times that of course a couple would get lucky. And people have been throwing around Xenoblade 2 as a prediction for years.

Although I do wonder if we ever actually will get Sylux. He would genuinely be cool.

Sylux genuinely means jackshit to the Metroid franchise.

Sylux is literally teased to play a role in Metroid Prime 4. That's why people think he has a shot. But, I can't imagine them advertising him BEFORE he's in Metroid. This is probably something that would come in SSB6.

Oh, I just found out why Sylux gets people so angry like this. Apparently they are canonically nonbinary so if they get in Smash then that is a huge blow to the gamer community who would HATE to see nonbinary representation in Smash. So with that in mind, I now wholeheartedly support Sylux's inclusion in Smash, because I live to annoy gamers.

But plenty of people wanted Rex and Pyra.
