Did anyone actually like skyward sword ?

It's simple. It works. It may all be similar, it may not get colored, but if it activates your almonds every once in a while when you remember his art exists then that should be good enough.

I liked it since it first came out. Never got why people got angry over the motion controls since they worked fine for me and only ever fucked up when the battery was dying.

First zelda I never bothered to finish. The magic was all gone. Never played the ds games though so that prob would have ruined the series prestige before. Not even a bad game just not special.

Only Zelda game I've ever dropped. Tiny world, hand holdy as shit, filled with padding, constant fetch quests that have you going back to the same three areas, formulaic as fuck.
Only reason I even played (and fell in love with) BOTW is because I saw people saying that itnthrew the old zelda formula in the trash finally.
The fact that the Zelda game taking place in a sky world with floating islands is the most restrictive one sucks. It should have been a more open Wind Waker.
Skyward Sword was everything bad about Zelda condensed into a single package.

They are good adventure compelling world but held back by being fucking boring due to how easy and simple they are. Let the disney magic wear off and you are left with kusoge.

Nah, it sucks. There are some good elements here and there, but overall it's not enjoyable. There's a reason Zelda had to reinvent itself afterwards.

Unironically best dungeon design in the series, great story and music, and the controls are stupid easy to master unless you have cerebral palsy.

It had a decent spubdtrack but overall it sucked. It felt less like an adventure and more like a puzzle game where every area was a dungeon. It was awful.
Best thing BOTW did was let go of the OoT 3D Zelda formula. By Skyward Sword, it was so old it rank
