It was a resounding defeat for Trump. The House impeachment managers made a strong case that even Trump Republican Senators admitted was strong. The Defense didn't even attempt to defend him, just whataboutism and falseflag accusations. 57-43 was a great victory. If just 10 more had been able to grow a spine and overcome their fear, it would have been guilty. Also, Trump's guilt was graphically portrayed to the American people and will not be forgotten.
