I take no particular joy in the fact that he's dead because his death wasn't what I wanted. His removal from political discourse was the goal. If he were to have suffered some horrible accident or undergone some sort of incident that rendered him unable to be on the radio anymore I'd be just as satisfied. The absence of his presence on the radio and involvment in political discourse is an absolute benefit for our country. His death is just a means to that very positive ends. Consequentially speaking it wasn't necessary for him to die to achieve these ends. Ethically speaking I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with refusing to mourn the death of someone so infamously cruel and despicable.
