Oh man, HeroQuest

being touched by my uncle is my favorite childhood memory

ah yes. I miss the days of going up to random children and beating them severely.

That toy bothers me. It's a flashlight with a green beam. Why make it green? IRL green is used for either signalling (fair enough, kids love secret codes) or.... blood trail tracking for hunters to find their kill. That's pretty dark shit to give to kids. I'm hoping the toy designer didn't know that.

I had 1, each had different coloured bulbs

Thanks user, that makes me feel better, I've never seen one that wasn't green, I never had one myself.

the bulb is withe the knob on right pas a green or red filter in front

i've played with one
nice programmable shit

I always wanted one when I was 12 or 13, never had one tho. A buddy of mine I met later in HS had one, I played around with it a little bit, cool as shit for the times, no way for it to know where it was it just remembered sequences of movements. IIRC these had 4-bit microcontrollers internally.

man i LOVED this game when I was a kid
