David Gilmour, no question.

Considering nobody can listen to a roger waters album id say Gilmore. On an island is anamazing album. Gilmore is the better singer but waters is the better lyricist. Music is a toss up. The wall suffers because its too much waters but post waters floyd only had a handful of good songs. Truth is they are way better together. Sure you can write comfortably numb but its nothing without one of the greatest solos ever

Never a great musician, he can no longer write music and his lyrics have devolved into "old man yells at cloud" territory where once he could at least be both precise and poetic.

At the very least Gilmour has aged not only with his talent intact but also with grace and dignity.
