Oh fuckin course it is. I don't mind that some movies have the obvious "guy in a suit" or hologram blah blah blah. But it seems lately the last few Scooby Doo movies are giving a middle finger towards the idea of paranormal concepts in this franchise. Even though that's when the franchise is at it's best. I won't be surprised, One of the writers said in a podcast after the release of the 13th ghosts movie that WB won't allow them to use any actual paranormal stuff in the Scooby Doo direct to video movies anymore, Minute 3:43 here

I don't get why they would do that even the original series had some real monsters like the Yeti who fell to his death or the actual living skeleton from the dinosaur episode.
Plus this movie uses flashbacks from Zombie Island, Mistery Inc and a Pup named Scooby doo (All of them had actual paranormal shit), I don't know why they are trying to put everything Scooby Doo related into one continuity while also trying to retcon all the paranormal stuff as being fake.
