All of those cuts and poses seem random but the whole thing is a reference to Angel by Madonna.

Yeah, there's a good balance between goofy enough to be funny but serious enough to make them decent antagonists.

The first episode seemed like it was shooting for them to be more serious but that went away pretty quickly and, really, for the best.

Some of the first season episodes had a real "Late '70s Nelvana" vibe to them.

It's been what, thirty-seven years since this aired? And I still have hope that one day someone will find the original masters and get them out to fans. This show blew my mind as a six year old and the damn songs have been in my head for most of my life.

Thanks, OP.

The last time it aired on a network in the US was in the early '90s on WGN; it's apparently been shown in other countries since then but I don't know when.

It was really popular in Israel to the point that it received a lot more merchandise and even a live action tour by the band but, again, not sure when it last aired there either.

This show is trash but I'm still in love with it for that. It's my ideal for a silly Saturday morning cartoon and if I ever get in me to actually try and make something it'd have to be in the vein of shows like this.

I'm pretty sure that Marshall Efron is the only primary cast member to have passed away so far.

The rest of them are still fairly active in their acting careers besides the guy who played Kidd Video and I think he switched over to ADR work.
