Why is Hank so afraid to be happy and have fun?
Why is Hank so afraid to be happy and have fun?
His dad was Cotton
/thread. Plus he’s married to Peggy, has no ass and a narrow urethra
Fpbp.
With Hank it really goes do back to his father. It’s remarkable he turned out as good as he did.
Sometimes he does but at the same time something wacky happens that he feels the need to fix.
have you ever had fun?
it's terrible.
Narrow Urethra, Narrow Heart, Narrow Soul.
All jokes aside, the appeal of Hank is that he has morals, rules etc. but he still learns and gets better and changes and grows understanding his framily and friends. Happens almoust every episode, shows core kinda, conservative dad has a good heart that can still expand. like a Propane Tank. Hard and Warming.
having fun is a sin.
ain't going to hell for that shit
because he has assburgers
This, sort of. The last time he really had fun and expressed his happiness was right before he broke his ankle during the high school championship football game, and he figured the broken ankle was a sign from God that displaying emotion was wrong (a view that was, unfortunately, also supported by Cottons abuse).
You shouldn’t drive drunk, user
Based Christian God
This
its never worth it. except when me and my brother decided after a night of drinking to hit up a ghetto indoor range, that was worth it.
He has no ass
Funny because he learned differently at the end of the episode.
There is something in the country/western/southern male mindset that expressing joy is acceptable only under narrow parameters. Anything outside of that they consider shameful.
Even when I was 21, I waited as long as I could to walk/wait off my drinks so I didn't get in the car blitzed, and usually stopped somewhere to eat if I left alone.
I think it's more of a 'if you're not serious, you're not taking things seriously' mindset that's pervasive in households that are either very restrictive or have high expectations for their children. Idea being that if you blink to enjoy something, you'll miss out on an opportunity or screw up.
You mean oriental cultures.
Asians love country music, their cultures have some parallels.
>Asians mastered time travel and have been emulating Southern culture for hundreds of years
This, and then Bobby uses that one time Hank was having fun to make him miserable and turn Peggy against him.
Which episode is this?
>destroys boomhaurs car
> professed his love for
>Gets obssessed with Gaming
>Propane
>male mindset that expressing joy is acceptable only under narrow parameters. Anything outside of that they consider shameful.
13:10 "Master of Puppets"
Every time he lets his guard down and tries to be happy something really bad happens. Watch the show and look out for this. It's really fucked up. Hank lost a promotion because he told his boss he loved him because he was overfilled with joy. I mean it's kind of weird and should have just been ignored but no he lost his promotion because he was happy. This isn't the only example of this. When Hank started to enjoy swimming with the dolphins he gets rapped. I could go on and on. It happens all the time to poor old Hank.
Kek. Buck knows that Hank should only be a goose.
Nah Hank would be a good boss. Look how he fixed Kan's business.
>forgets the carwash episode
That was the episode I was talking about. Did you mean to respond to the other guy?
No, Buck literally calls him a golden goose in that episode. He knows that Hank would be too good of a boss.
Hank is a hard worker with low self-esteem. Hank would be a good boss. He would be hands-on and be willing to do the dirty work. Hank is the golden goos because he is smart and works hard and is good at running a business but doesn't have the self-esteem to go into business for himself or to know what he is worth.
Thanks for explaining why I am right.
Mean I guess but why did he promote him in the first place? If Hank didn't say he loved him. How was he going to knock him down? He gave him the promotion because he thought he deserved it and took it away because he got weirded out. Not because he was playing 3D chess. So your right on one thing and wrong on the other thing.
