Zimbabwe

I really like italin cuisine. But I'd rather have (northern) Spanish or Portuguese food most of the times. Spanish food for stew and meat, Portuguese for fish and sidedish (bolinhos, feijoada, chamuças, rice, all the good stuff)

Do you eat octopus ?

African cousine is underrated, way better than asi*n spicy cousine

I wonder that, too.
Who did they steal it from?

Every cuisine has some incredibly recipe, and we should stop saying that one is better than others

hell yeah. Boiled the exact time with spicy paprika, salt and olive oil over it. Check out Pulpo á feira, best (and only) way to have Octopus. Used to have it almost every week, now it's prohibitively expensive now that the americans consider it a "cool fad", but sometimes we manage to fish one or two and is the best first dish of a family meal

Incorporation of foreign elements (chinese rice noodles substituting wheat, south american tomatoes as sauce) to elevate above meditteranean standard (flatbread with fish sauce).

Chocolate was invented by europeans. A chili drink with cocoa doesn't count.

fuck man, now I want some octopus
maybe polpo e patate, simply boiled octopus with potatos and white vinegar

Ameripost of the day

Italian is great, but France, Spain, Greece, India, China, Trinidad and Tobago, and Mexico all are great too.

>beans corn bread and shitty cuts of meat are 80% of his "cuisine"
Brits are unironically above you

check out Pulpo á feira, mio cuore, you will not regret it. Love XXXXX

French is superior

France

>Trinidad and Tobago

I don't like cheese or tomatoes

Not to mention, unwilling to eat foods with no spices. They don't know the bliss of lamb with just rosemary and thyme.

We are Italian

That's a trait shared among all coping thirdies who basically eat rat meat thus need shit seasoning to cover its shit flavor so i decided not to include it but yes, that too

Bravo, bravo, post results if you ever do it, I would like to check it and nod in satisfaction. The two most important things are:
buy a good octopus, bigger octopus does not mean tastier. look for those of more purple colour (don't know jackshit about mediterranean octopus, but assume that purple is better)
It is probabily advised to freeze it before cooking it, there is a bit of debate about it. Make sure to follow a guide to the letter if you do it.
The dish is simple, it relies on quality, but please, please, be very strict with boiling time. Check the octopus with a fork, it should slide inside with a little bit of resistence, it should not be chewy nor hard. Be very strict with boiling time pls, I know you will, Italians know how to respect good products.
Finally, plz recommend me an easy italian recipe that is not that very well known, user.

>portuguese cuisine

The fuck is that?

I dated an Italian guy who always offered to cook for me. Twas nice.

Don't know what thatbis but demeaning portuguese food is a sign not of only faggotry but of being a pleb so please don't do it.

No idea, hence the filename. I found it on a restaurant page in Açores.
