Why does Italy have the greatest cuisine in the world?

I really like italin cuisine. But I'd rather have (northern) Spanish or Portuguese food most of the times. Spanish food for stew and meat, Portuguese for fish and sidedish (bolinhos, feijoada, chamuças, rice, all the good stuff)

Do you eat octopus ?

African cousine is underrated, way better than asi*n spicy cousine

I wonder that, too.
Who did they steal it from?

Every cuisine has some incredibly recipe, and we should stop saying that one is better than others

hell yeah. Boiled the exact time with spicy paprika, salt and olive oil over it. Check out Pulpo á feira, best (and only) way to have Octopus. Used to have it almost every week, now it's prohibitively expensive now that the americans consider it a "cool fad", but sometimes we manage to fish one or two and is the best first dish of a family meal

Incorporation of foreign elements (chinese rice noodles substituting wheat, south american tomatoes as sauce) to elevate above meditteranean standard (flatbread with fish sauce).

Chocolate was invented by europeans. A chili drink with cocoa doesn't count.

fuck man, now I want some octopus
maybe polpo e patate, simply boiled octopus with potatos and white vinegar
