In Europe, between 80-90% of people in each country thought of Trump as an stupid idiot, both left and right. But 10-20% felt as desperate as i guess 50% of the US feels. So we're not getting a trump candidate, but there's major disturbances. And since they can't find something close to a majority, they're getting even more angry and discontent.
