Just for a super general ballpark figure, here's the rates chart of a hentai translator I've worked with before who does a decent job. Keep in mind that for that amount you're getting basic text editing in bubbles by the same person who does the TL. If the manga has any more complex redraws (e.g. lots of text outside of bubbles like some shojo manga) then you'll need to pay a redrawer separately.
Also of note is that you'll have to pay for the raw files if they're not publicly available, or otherwise get your hands on them. With hentai this often isn't an issue since so much scanned stuff has already been uploaded to ex, but this is less true of manga. Public raws are often nonexistent or of a low quality, so you may need to buy the digital volumes for the series you want worked on (if you're really rich then buy the books and pay somebody to scan them).
Literally, who cares? Just translate it if you feel like it.

From me? $15 a chapter.

I just want to be able to read it. As long as the text in bubbles gets translated and I can understand the story that's all I need. I would just buy the physical volumes off of eBay or whatever if I couldn't find scanned raws. Raw Manga from Japan goes for cheap on eBay

You can probably find somebody to do it for the rate in that screenshot I gave or something like it, provided that it's normal text-in-bubbles stuff without a bunch of text over page art.
Keep in mind that if the series is long it will take time to do all the volumes as well, and some people won't want to take on a long project.

You can't rush art and expect good results.
Sadly, I can't speed up my workflow any faster without sacrificing quality, so I'm sad to say I don't have anything to share.
I have a handful of methods for speeding up workflow, like how to auto straighten pages, auto crop pages, auto clean bubbles, and auto center text. But I'm too lazy to explain the processes or go get the citation for where the original scripts/programs were made.
Oh well.

>Ps+Ai That makes me wonder, has anyone ever tried to typeset using CorelDRAW?
