Speak for yourself, I wanted to see something similar to Zelda 1 after growing tired of the same copy paste format Nintendo gave the franchise since ALTTP and they were running out of ideas with Skyward Sword. I was very happy with what I got and it's my second favorite entry in the series.
Will BotW 2 live up to the open world standard that RDR2 created?
how do you even muster the brainpower to bring your fingers to the keyboard
BotW is nothing like Zelda 1
Cope retard, the people making BotW and other major devs in Japan love RDR and R*
>BotW plays like nothing like anything else in the series
you could blow shit up with bombs and light things on fire and freeze water in oot, use wind to manipulate things in ww and magnetism in tp
What BotW2 needs:
>No more weapon durability, or at least a blacksmith to upgrade/repair weapons. Weapons should dull, not break
>No more shrines
>No more Korok Seeds
>No flashbacks, focus on shit happening in the present. Focusing so much of BotW on dead people that you never interact with instead of fleshing out the world you're playing in and the NPCs you're actually interacting with was a baffling decision
>game has lots of lakes, rivers, and an ocean
>series has had fishing
>game literally has fish in it
>you can cook fish
HERE'S AN IDEA, LET'S NOT PUT FISHING IN THIS ZELDA GAME!
None of that is exclusive to Zelda
Remember when Zelda games were the ones that inspired others? No wonder they're all shit now.
i can't believe they abandoned the fishing fanbase like this....
