Do a bit of digging because they seem to have an obvious age gap and I'm curious, and turns out she had already graduated from grad school but literally just like a year ago, and from the same tiny college we were all attending in the same field he taught. Nah, I don't know where you live where it's common, even in this case there were some students whispering about it in a way that implied it was pretty shocking when they first heard about it. Okay. Because I did not get that impression at least from the more anonymous faculty only spaces and discussions I have seen online. Looked it up once because I was curious and just found a lot of professors turning their noses up at the very idea because they tended to see the student teacher relationship as a sort of guiding, almost parental role and so saw anything else as a breach of ethics and whatnot. A few others would say they got fleeting crushes but never ever had the urge to act on them. So my impression was not simply because I was student.

Whenever something is emotionally painful I've found that sitting and thinking through the pain has been very successful. In my past I've often bottled things up and it takes way longer to get over it. If you expose yourself over and over to the pain, it will eventually subside. Get to the root of why you feel the way you do, and resolve to address whatever it is, or try to change your future strategies to be more successful in the future.

I'm a computer engineer by degree, employed as an electrical engineer. But I would not recommend that path to anyone haha

Just see what opportunities are around you, nurses and healthcare workers are always needed though and the money isn't terrible.

As for what's a good fit, no job perfectly fits a type, but given their low earnings INTPs probably have the biggest issue finding work satisfaction. On the other hand, once you get comfortable in a position and find you can do it easily you can focus on your own hobbies and interests.
